Beautiful shine and it hand stitches up easily for embroidery. If you work embroidery or Bucilla type Christmas kits, this is a must to buy to replace the not so great quality of metallic thread included in most kits.

I knit this metallic thread along with dark green yarn for leaves that finish my artistic endeavors called Petite Fleurettes pins. The leaves otherwise look too plain alongside the antique and rare yarns I use to create the flowers. Nice metallic thread. All metallic threads can be challenging to work with, but the DMC ones hold up better. I used the thread for paper embroidery on card stock which tends to cause more stress on the thread than fabric embroidery and had excellent results. I look forward to using the thread on fabric hand embroidery in the future as well. ... show more

This is my new favorite crafting element. I use this to make cards and scrapbook layouts pop. Easy to handle and shows up better than regular metallic thread. A bit overpriced for one.
