I really like the way this looked in the pictures, and even in application. It fits the space nicely and despite what others have reported it actually is pretty sturdy. Three things to note: 1) The instructions for installing the LEDs are non-existent. They are there, but all they say is to check the LEDs to make sure they are working before installing them. It doesn't actually tell you how they should be installed and the way the cabinet is designed does not make it obvious as to how they should be installed to hide wiring. You'll need to be creative. 2) This mounts pretty much flush to the wall, meaning there is no way you're getting cords behind it. I actually had to create another hole in the top of the cabinet and then saw out a void in the bottom lip against the wall so that I could get the cords down without seeing the wires from the front. This was the most annoying thing to deal with and thank god I have an abundance of tools on hand. 3) The piece is heavy. The anchors and screws they send to hang this on the wall are not sufficient. I went to Lowe's and got toggle bolts to secure it to the wall. You can sit 500 lbs. on top of this now and it's not going anywhere unless it takes the entire wall with it. I would suggest finding something a bit more easy and better designed unless you're handy. In all I spent a good 4 hours on this from start to finish. Looks good now that it's completed. It’s a nice mount for what we wanted under our 75” tv. Do not use the cheap anchors it comes with. Get toggle bolts as they will be a lot more sturdy. Some the preset holes are off and you have to mess with it to get boards to align up. You will want to tear it up by the same time you get it up. Had a few minor imperfections I didn’t care about. We really love the shelf, however we had to have someone come in and achor this to the studs in the wall. Otherwise it began to take the drywall down. It's been a process. You should start with a contractor first before you assemble.

Not the easiest to assemble…This product is not for Sheetrock walls…!!!! TV stand is heavy by itself without adding a receiver, shelf speakers or ornaments….you would think the design concept would take that into consideration. No, instead they give you three (3) hooks that will actually pull the anchors out of your wall. I had to literally prop the wall mount up with a 2x4, run to Home Depot and spend $45 of extra money on “L” brackets to support the weight. That is NOT the “floating” concept that was advertised; I wound up basically creating a “shelf”… ... show more

The console itself is as advertised and I paid a premium for the black unit. Delivery was on-time from Amazon as always, but the product was a disappointment. Most importantly, the dimension of three wall bracket mount included in the kit is only 2"x2". The "Floating" console weighs about 66 lbs. with center of gravity around 12" from the wall. This puts close to 800 lb-in torque on those small brackets that are secured to the wall only by two 1/4" screws. (i.e., there just isn't enough strengths on those screws to withstand the cantilever force!!) Also, the chronological order on the Instruction is just plain incorrect. It required me to disassemble and reorder the assembly process it to correctly complete the installation. Unless you decide to fabricate your own wall hanging bracket and you're mechanically inclined/intuitive to assemble without the step-by-step manual, I would not recommend this product. ... show more

The item came complete, however the back board was ripped and it made it a little hard to put into place. The front of the drawers that flip up had chips on the front that were visable. The led lights fell off by the 2nd day. The tape or glue isn't all that great. The lights give it a cool look.

I loved the look of the floating entertainment center so I purchased it!! How hard can it be! Well the directions they provide are horrible so I would say definitely use the YouTube directions provided. Even with that being said, we purchased this product on Nov. 3, it was delivered on November 18 and as of today November 30th our floating entertainment center is on the floor😔! Went to bed with it on the wall and woke up with it on the floor! We will now have to find a new entertainment center! We only had remotes, a sound bar and the two smaller speakers on top of it. Nothing heavy enough to have it fall! If possible maybe having it assembled already may do some folks good! I wish I would have listened to the reviews! ... show more

Photos made it look like there was a shelf and two cabinets instead of just two open spots. I also felt like it had outlets inside it but you need your own power strip. Wall mount system is a complete pain. There is no wiggle room for error and you have to fit the mounts into the grooves just right. The cords for the lights ar too short. You have to have the control box behind the unit and the sensor barely fits out for the controller The "wire management" space is a joke. The holes are too small to fit any cords through with it against the wall. So in order to fit cables in you have to pull it away from the wall and then you are back to the struggle of mounting it again. Overall very disappointed in the product. I'd send it back but after all the work of getting it installed I'm too defeated to do any more with it. ... show more
