Also, mind the side of everything (the smaller wooden part should be on your right when the table is facing you and the cup holder probably should too, if you're right handed. Originally I got this to be a secondary desk. After using this, it quickly became the primary desk. I highly recommend this desk. The height is so adjustable, this is very versatile. It will work for even your kids sitting, up to adult standing. After assembly my biggest complaint is that I like the surface flat, but when it has any weight on it, it does want to angle a bit.     • Good for the right purpose

I needed an economical solution for a laptop in my shop. I also wanted it to be adjustable so that I could vary my work position. This was a great fit for me. Looking at the picture, I initially thought the assembly would be a bit of a pain in the neck, but it really wasn't. It was on par with other furniture you buy in a box and have to assemble. The fit and finish wasn't perfect, but there weren't any blemishes or obvious damage that I could see. The top is sturdy enough for me that I have no concerns that a small bump will knock it over. The casters attached easily and operate smoothly on a concrete floor, but they are a little small. They may have a tougher time on carpet. Screwing and unscrewing knobs for the adjustment can feel a little cumbersome at times, but that is what you would need to expect for something like this that comes in at less than $100. It's not going to have an electric or pneumatic function. Once you get it set up the way you like, I have really enjoyed it. I do change from sitting to standing quite often, but I find myself standing more with this desk. I can't really tell you why, I can only say that I do.
