The black and white details really make these zippered booties stand out. The back has a black band with the brand in white on it four times, and the outside of the ankle has a white label with the brand in black. There is white trim between the shoes and soles. The zippers have a corded pull that's black and white. The soles are thick. The material is quite stiff, making them less than comfortable on the lower calves. I upsized to a 10, and they still are snug, but it's the stiffness that's more annoying. They are somewhat difficult to zip and unzip, primarily due to the cording used in place of a traditional pull. It's hard to get a firm grip for leverage. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the first part of them to break. Honestly, they look more like rain boots than fashion boots. I know the price tag is because of the brand, and while they appear to be well made, the price is steep for uncomfortable, rain boots with a difficult zipper. Who knows, maybe they will become soft and more comfortable with wear.

I got these for my niece as she's totally into this sort of thing and the style is perfect for her. The brand name quality is very good at a decent value too, so that was really nice. She says they are comfortable, which is great because you never know if the size is going to be what you'd expect with shoes ordered online, but the size is spot on. Since she wears a lot of black, the color had to be black and she's very happy (on the inside, I'm sure) to have more black stuff to wear. So she likes the color. Overall, they seem great. Good color, good fit, good quality, good price

I am a size 7.5 and despite ordering the appropriate size, these were a little too roomy for me. I felt like I needed some thick socks to make them work. I know they’re meant to be a cool clunky look, but the overall heft and weight of the boots made them unwearable for me. I kept feeling like I was going to trip. They just weren’t comfortable to actually wear, and will ultimately be going in the donation bin, unfortunately.

Six stars! These shoes are beautiful! The genuine leather is so stylish and high quality, and they are clearly well constructed shoes. More importantly, they are super comfortable and fit as expected. The upper is genuine leather and has a nice contrast between the base color and the logo branding. The interior of the shoe is soft and comfortable. The bottom is durable and has a nice thick tread. The finish makes these versatile for both casual and more dressy occasions. The zipper glides smoothly and seems strong. Based on the materials and craftsmanship these should be very durable. A great value for the money and exactly what my daughter wanted. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend these!

All positive comments for these boots. They seem to be very well made and have very visible DKNY labels. Sizing is as expected for me and they are very comfortable. These DKNY booties definitely make a statement. The black and white contrast looks modern and eye catching without feeling too youthful, and the chunky sole gives good grip when you’re walking on slick surfaces. From a style standpoint, they’re exactly what I hoped for. The downside is the comfort. Even after sizing up, they felt stiff and restrictive, and after wearing them for a mall outing my toes eventually went numb. They’re on the pricier side, though that’s expected with the brand. In my opinion, they’re best suited for someone with very narrow feet who wants a bold, fashionable boot for shorter outings rather than all day wear.

First, the Amazon listing didn’t mention that there is fleece lining around the ankle area. While this might be great for colder climates, it makes the boots very warm, almost too warm for everyday wear, where I live in a tropical state. I wish this detail had been included in the product description so I could have made a more informed decision. In terms of sizing, these run very true to size. In hindsight, I should have ordered a half size up. They fit tightly, and I’m unable to fully zip them up comfortably. Wearing socks would make it even more difficult, so keep that in mind when ordering. On the positive side, the leather feels high quality and durable. The boots are clearly well constructed and just need some time to break in. With proper sizing, I think they would be quite comfortable over time. Overall, these are attractive, well-made boots, but the lack of clear product details and the snug fit were disappointing. I’d recommend sizing up and considering your climate before purchasing.
