These Boots are very high quality. They are very comfortable and they fit properly, I think they run true to size but I did order a size 1/2 bigger than I normally wear. I like that these are lace-up boots, zippers aren't my favorite. Considering these are pretty high fashion but industrial at the same time, I find myself using them at work and for casual events. One of the reasons I ordered these boots is that the listing says the outer material is leather, so I was definitely disappointed when I saw the label inside says they’re actually synthetic. BUT, they really do look like leather and the quality is so great I’m not too mad about it. I wear a 9.5 and the 9.5 fits perfectly. FYI- I do have somewhat narrow feet and slim ankles. I find them to be very comfortable, way more so than my real leather “Dr.M’s” ever were. I was a tad concerned that the “combat” lug sole might look too tough, but they’re actually kind of elegant looking, and the tiny round studs around the sole add a subtle pizzazz to them. I’m not much for calling out brands on my apparel , but the DKNY on the back adds a modern, graphic element to them. I can see wearing these with jeans or the right casual skirt or dress. They are true black, with a slight shine to it, not patent. Love them! ... show more
