This is such an incredible product. If you need to shoot video that is smooth and energetic, look no further than this gimbal from DJI. It leveled up my shooting instantly. It’s a great stabilizer for those only looking to make films on their mobile, but still desire to express themselves deeper than just a hobbyist. I didn't have time to practice using this before I went to the field. Turns out the field was a perfect training ground. Videos really look professional when using this stabilizer. I was able to figure out how to use it in less than 15 minutes. But, I had freaked out right before that, realizing I had no clue what I was doing, and thinking it was going to be too difficult. So, go ahead and buy this. I think it will be useful for anyone shooting videos on the go! Seems solidly built, and I really liked the results.

I bought this product to film vlogs and myself playing music. I was hoping for a function that it doesn’t have. I was hoping you could program it to slowly move between two points while filming stationary. It can do that while doing a time lapse, but alas not while doing simple video. But I found it very useful regardless. The follow function is pretty smooth and the jitters of handheld video are gone. It’s given me video and photo ideas I never would have tried before. It is simply a great tool. Amazingly priced for how well it works.

I sold my mobile 2 for this pone and wont regret it, its really much better to hold, use, store and bst of all, to carry. Th e follow focus is far better that the previous one. Only thing is that sometimes y get tangle on how to set it up but with practice and use it will dissapear.

The media could not be loaded. I record videos for real estate agents, most recently virtual House tours due to covid-19. this gimbal allows me to capture super stable footage on my smartphone and to give people a virtual tour of the house they might potentially buy without any unwanted shakes or stammers in the footage! in the attached video when walking up or downstairs it seems as if I am a ghost floating throughout the house except for when I show up in the mirror! Overall would definitely recommend especially because the built-in app called the DJI mimo app has awesome features spread throughout the entire thing that allow you to do tons of creative things with the gimbal that would otherwise be impossible unless you were an expert.

I am a non-technical person so was a little nervous about this. However, after the first use, I got it and was able to use this for several internal videos and meetings. The gimble is completely stable - you can walk - practically run - and the thing keeps your phone stable. The app is easy to use and the handle has a zoom and pan function. Well worth the money.

Nice gimbal for the non-professional videographer that wants to take better videos and have amazing panoramic photo options that give nearly professional results. The DJI Osmo Mobile3 is compact, lightweight and sturdy. Connecting your phone and pairing with the OM3 is incredibly easy thanks to DJI’s app and well thought out quick start instructions. I am currently using an iPhone8 with the OM3, and have no problem running the app even with my older device. My only issue with the Osmo Mobile3 is that you must remove the case from your phone in order for it to fit the mount on the OM3. I contacted DJI about this and was told that there was no current option or plan to offer a case. I was pretty dissatisfied with the support on this issue as in my research I found several instances of users damaging their devices when they were transitioning it from the mount. Accidents happen, and it is unfortunate that DJI does not build their product to accommodate any cases that would offer any level of protection against accidental damage. I was able to find a case that fits my iPhone8 (also fits the iphone7 and the 2020 iPhoneSE). The Spigen Ultra Hybrid 2 case will fit your iPhone while in the cradle mount for the Osmo Mobile3. Summary: Love the gimbal, app is decent, the cradle mount is less than acceptable in that the only way to use it properly is to remove your phone’s case (resulting in a 3 star rating).
