It is an extremely stable photography platform. In sport mode it performs like a race car. I got stable image transmission at long range. Great drone alot quieter than the original mavic pro.... The competition is not even coming close to what DJI is releasing now as far as there latest model to the mavic series. Also a note of caution be sure to calibrate compass and IMU before first flight as these are very sensitive sensors that can be slightly off from their optimum parameters from sitting in warehouses for months before actual shipping. ... show more

This feedback is very simple: 1. Purchased drone as a Christmas present at the end of November (Amazon will accept returns through January 31) 2. Given as Christmas present 3. Camera went out the last week in January. All you could see was purple. Didn’t have box by now but had all of parts to send back and wrapped it all securely in bubble wrap. 4. I've had this drone for a month now - and love it. It's the first one I've ever used so I can't really compare it to anything, but I'm a gadget nerd, and this is really well built, travels well, handles great and the quality of the photos and videos is top notch. The biggest downside is that you cannot buy additional white batteries for this drone. It comes with three, which is great. But, if you are planning on using this for work or staying out for long periods of a day, you will need more batteries. The car chargers don't charge fast enough to be useful quickly. DJI only sells additional batteries for the original dark grey Mavic Pro and the new platinum Mavic Pro, which is light grey. So, you can technically buy batteries that will fit, but they won't match the color of your drone. And obviously if you go through the trouble of ordering the white one, the color is something that you specifically want. So, huge fail on DJI's part on that front. ... show more

Just like the Mavic Pro, great performance. As other reviews state, I found a bit of black particles on the white plastic shell of the drone. Definitely not used, all plastic protection stickers were intact. Just a few specs of black particles that are probably loose crumbs from black foam or something. The bright white color of this Alpine version makes any dirt or fingerprints show way more than the standard dark colored Mavic. The box was sealed but looks like debris could make it's way into the box without being opened since it's a bigger box that slips over a smaller box and internals are still somewhat exposed to circulating air into the tape sealed box on box. Ordered mine from Garlus fulfilled by Amazon. Smooth transaction great product at best price. ... show more

Have not had the opportunity to put it through the test. Weather has not been the best. (. Cold and ice ). I will update come spring. Update. Had taken it out about five times and it was great no issues at all. And no regrets..

This is my first drone, and its really awesome! Flies great and is loaded with features. READ THE MANUAL front to back, before flying! And watch a ton of Youtube videos while you're waiting on the drone to be delivered. Its incredibly high-tech and not to be seen as just a 'toy'.
