This is a pretty high quality blade and frame, especially considering the price. The frame is made of solid aluminum, while the blade is razor sharp pun intended. It comes in a few colors. I opted for green. It came witha ruler, which I do not know what I would use it for other than measuring something. It also came with a few extra replacement blades, which is great, because the key to precision cutting is a sharp blade. I used it to cut a magnet that I printed, that had somewhat fine detail. It worked like a charm. It cut it with ease and I was very pleased at how the final result turned out. The knife went through the magnet paper like a hot knife through butter. The media could not be loaded. I’ve used it for trimming peel and stick wallpaper as a decorative drawer liner. It’s worked well. This paper I’m using is on the thicker side, and it’s still cutting it well. I appreciate that it also comes with extra blades. The only slight downside is that the blade can start to unscrew somewhat easily, but it’s just a quick twist to get it back tight. Still 5 stars in my opinion, especially for the value. ... show more

I’m building a tiny dollhouse (fits in the palm of your hand) for my first time and learned I need accuracy down to the millimeter. This tool has been essential for cutting tiny pieces of wood, paper and fabric. I’m so thankful it came with a metal ruler too. What a nice bonus. Turns out the acrylic ruler I had planned on using didn’t work for what I was doing and the metal ruler was just what I needed. I’ll buy replacement blades for this when the time comes.
