There's two parts to this set that my kindergarten age granddaughter loved - the beads and make up inside AND the box itself because when the plastic trays are removed (if the items are stored another way) the box itself swings up to create a cool storage box. TIP: The items can be stored in the box, as the trays have plastic covers. However with sets like this usually store the tiny items in flat compartmentalized plastic storage boxes. If this is done the box can become a cool jewelry/make up/treasures/stationary storage box. QUALITY: The beads and bracelets and other trinkets are about the same as in any set like this. The little charms - tea, unicorn, Rudolf, unicorn, etc - are really cute. There's a variety of make up - we weren't sure the ingredients so these were just as happily used on paper and on a make up doll. I think the box I received is missing the compact - there is one prominently shown on the box cover and a space for it inside the box - but that's empty. The box arrived fully sealed so this must have been missed at the production point. PRICE: Lots to like about this set but at it's current price point of just under $40 it seems slightly pricey for what's inside - a lot of what's going on with this set is the cool box itself - which kids will like. GIFTING: This is a fun gift (age appropriate - and if the parents won't mind all the little beads) or something to have on hand for a rainy day. This type of thing is exactly what my granddaughter loves playing with so for her this is a winner.

So fun and comes with a lot of great items! My niece absolutely loved this, and she had a blast making charm bracelets with her friends. This box is pretty big and is filled with a lot of great things, including: beads, nail polish, eye shadow palette, necklaces, brackets, and more. The girls took turns painting each others nails and doing each others eye shadow too! She really liked all the bright colors of the pallet and the polishes. Absolutely great deal for the price!

An interesting kit because it combines dressing up with making jewelry. The kit does have some nicer beads than many kits. It also has a nice presentation as it is designed into a box similar to high-end jewelry boxes. In this instance much of the value is in the presentation and long term use of the case/box. For anyone that knows the value of certain types of beads you can appreciate some of the higher quality beads in this kit. Personally I feel like you do get a higher than normal quality of bead in this kit but the quantity you get could be improved on, and really that is my only concern with the kit. My daughter loves the kit and the playtime/learning experience is surely with the investment.
