The pieces put together well and there were plenty of spares. I’ve made several of these, and this was the first one that I wired up the lights for! I love it! May go back and do lighting on my other ones now! There aren’t many tedious, small things to cut out and glue together. I did it start to finish in 2.5 hours uninterrupted. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. It was even super easy to put the final pieces together, which I usually struggle with. Plenty of spares if you want extra or break a piece. Wonderfully fun! Would love to purchase another from this brand.

Well it looks great in the package but I can't seem to get past first step, I think something is wrong with the directions, not specific enough I need help of some sort so it's not easy, complicated But if you like a challenge this is just for you.!!!

This Book Nook has a LOT of small pieces that pressed out easily enough from the boards. (Tip: press out the finer, more delicate parts of a piece to release them first do they don't break when you press out the rest of the piece). Some Reviewers said it was "busy," but I like all of the bits and pieces, as they add a lot of interest to the inside. I used a combination of B7000 and white glues, also a sheet of sanding paper (fine grit) that I cut into 2-inch pieces for ease of use. I stain the sanded areas with a stain pen (color of Golden Oak, bought in the paint dept of a Home Depot store). This Book Nook did not come with plastic covers for the top and front, which is a negative in my opinion!

I really enjoyed building this dinosaur set! I have another bookshelf miniature kit that is dollhouse themed and I've really enjoyed it since I got it for Christmas last year. I got this one to add to my collection because apparently, I'm now addicted to these bookshelf kits. ☺️ This dinosaur set is similar in structure regarding how it is assembled, with the main difference being the architectural theme of the base surroundings. Otherwise, they are similar regarding the ease of assembly and use. This is a different brand than my other set but they are both of excellent quality. Social media and electronic communications present a constant barrage of “in your face” intrusions of bright lights, loud sounds, and information overload at breakneck speed. Unplug and disconnect for a while to enjoy some quiet down time to embrace your senses, curiosity, and creativity. This product provides an opportunity to decompress by focusing on spending valuable time by yourself, for yourself. Immerse into the creation of your own imaginative story. This house kit is tactilely satisfying, illustrations and colors are harmonious, and the pieces and connections are well articulated. I thoroughly enjoyed my quiet time for the process of putting it together and the beautiful final product! This kit is more suitable for older children and adults because it contains small pieces that require patience and fine motor skills to complete the detailed assembly work. As well, the instructions are very detailed. Younger children may find this aspect tedious or frustrating. I enjoyed this product because it involves using intentional thought and imagination, which makes it ageless, and I highly recommend it.

This is an extremely nice kit! The instructions are clear and the pieces are all well labeled and printed. High quality wood board and coloring. The lights work great. No missing pieces, but there are no spares at all, so be careful. This is a great value compared to other 3d/book nooks I have done. It's a great size for a children's bookshelf or nightlight. My 9 year old loves it!

Yes it is a difficult puzzle BUT the pieces don’t fit together. Everything had to be filed down. Pieces broke - several pieces. The picture instructions are horrible, you can’t tell which way some of the pieces go from the picture. Do not plan on purchasing this brand of Book Nooks again.
