Its a good novelty item, some of the pre drilled hold where to big for the screws. But was still fun for the kids to put together. Good value for the money.

I wish I could give this five stars, it’s really cute and my son got very excited over it. The wood seems high quality and overall it was well organized with easy to understand instructions. However, the kit I received had a duplicate piece in the place where the hood should have been. He is understandably disappointed but he is still having a great time building it, so I’ve ordered a second hoping the next one has the right configuration of pieces.

I got this for my 7 year old to put together because he is at the age where he really likes building things and tinkering. This is a good afternoon craft, and the quality of the wood is really good, compared to some of the other wooden building type kits we have bought. This comes with everything to build and style (with included stickers) the monster truck including a screwdriver. It's really easy to follow the directions too. My son was happy to build a vehicle of his own and is proud that he did it by himself AND that he got a workable toy out of the whole process. I think for the $15 price at the time of this review it is a fair price, but I would wait until this drops in price before I would buy this again (as a gift!)

This officially licensed wooden building kit is fun and straightforward for kids to assemble with stickers. The pieces fit well and the finished truck is sturdy for play. Durable craft and is a good value overall for creative ages 5-8.

I think this is a great toy as well as a tactile learning activity. Built this with a 5 year old buddy that loves trucks and building blocks. Usually we race a couple of the trucks he already has, but this was a good change of pace. And it was also a good opportunity for him to practice and learn skills. He’s an energetic 5 year old so we really got to practice patience and delayed gratification while reading through the manual, taking inventory of the parts, and trying to anticipate which steps might be challenging while going through each step. And then the actual building process was great to help with his fine motor skills and taking the somewhat abstract information in the manual and bringing it to life in the truck. Mom and him are gonna do some more decorating, and we’ll race that truck next time. I think it’s a great deal for 10 bucks. This let him practicing communicating skills and learn some hands on skills, he got to be creative and have that creation he made in the end to be proud of. these are exactly the type of toys I look out for when buying for young kids.
