Wow! These curtains feel wonderful, very soft. We bought white with the hope it would provide som relief from the hot Florida sun. We hoped for some shade and what we got was FULL SUN BLOCKING!!!!! Excellent! You can see on the left that is how hard that 100 degree sun used to hit that chair on the right. Now you can sit outside and be cool and comfy all year round. The fabric is really lux. I LOVE these curtains!! Very nice quality fabric! Heavier than you would expect, which is great. I am in Florida and was needing extra shade on my screen porch since hurricane Milton took out a very large tree in the neighbors backyard. I’ve always loved the look of white curtains outside. Yes, they are going to get dirty. Anything you put outside is going to get dirty. These are very easy to clean by throwing them in the washing machine. I read the other reviews and saw the pictures of the colored curtains that had faded within a few weeks. I figure, the white can be cleaned, but the fade cannot be fixed. I originally went with the “light taupe” color but returned them as soon as I put one up. It look like a paint drop cloth and not elegant like these white ones. The size I needed fell between two sizes. I originally bought the 84 inch but they were 5 inches too short and didn’t look great. I bought the 95 inch and hemmed them up 6 inches and they were perfect. Note: if you’re going to shorten them with a sewing machine, use a new ballpoint needle, 70-80 gauge. This fabric is wiggly, even though it’s not stretchy, so good luck… It’s tricky and I’ve been sewing my whole life! Oh… the tension rods I also bought an Amazon. A great solution instead of drilling into my aluminum frame. ... show more

It's been 1 year since I purchased these. They are sturdy, good material and well put together. They made it thru all seasons structure wise. However, the color faded in the sun even with them being drawn most of the time. My black curtains are now gray..well a combo of gray and lighter shades of black. It looks more tye-die if you will as the curtains were tied back a lot and the fading is uneven. Kinda turned out like they were made that way. It still matches my decor but I never would have purchased outdoor curtains that can't withstand the sun. That's literally the purpose of them. Sun blocking and privacy. My suggestion is to get a light color and pray for the best. Or use in am area that doesn't get direct sunlight. ... show more

Looking for a way to shade off our patio and retain coolness in summer and heat in the winter? These are perfect for that solution, they are built nicely and seem pretty resilient to date. Some things to note, there is a "pocket" hem at the bottom that you can add weights to to help with the wind blowing them. The Grommets/holes at the top are not heavy duty but if your pole or wire is smooth, we have seen no issues or signs of tearing even with heavy winds. Highly recommend. ... show more

I have bought 9 pairs of these for privacy on our covered deck. Some of them are not the same length as others. I bought them in pure white. They are soft and hopefully the grommets will not rust. At first I ironed them to get the folds and wrinkles out, but it was A LOT! So I stopped doing that. They are adding privacy to the side of our deck where we have neighbors - for the neighbors and for us. These curtains provide a nice backdrop. I chose them because they are smooth so maybe won’t grab as much outside soil, pollen, etc. Easy to install on a strong tension rod, color (pure white) is exactly as pictured. I wish they were weighted because they do billow in the wind - but maybe not so much when our railing is installed. I did try magnetic weights, but that’s not working well. ... show more
