I have always bought and loaded gift cards to maintain my Disney+ subscription, this has never been a problem over an entire year. Or wasn't anyway until the last month. Tried GC from both another retailer and Amazon and they will not apply to my account no matter what I do. Disney customer service is useless at first they told me it was because I had MAX under my subscription as well. So I cancelled Max and went back to Disney/Hulu no ads which they claim would be allowed. Here we are the month or so later when I try to do exactly what they told me to do and the cards will not apply and they charged my credit card for the subscription again. Even Disney+ customer service could not get the cards applied to my account as gift credit. Do not be like me and you may think yourself stuck with now useless Disney+ gift cards. Or I was until I discovered a slight work around, while you cannot use these for your Disney+ account for some reason you can spend them at the Disney store online. It's what I did to avoid losing my money outright, not exactly what we are buying these for but they will redeem to buy something there so you don't get stuck with them being useless. ... show more

    • Don't Buy because Disney Plus won't accept!!!

I purchased a gift card for DisneyPlus for $25 and I go to the Disney Plus website, and it gives an error message. The site will NOT accept gift cards. This is a KNOWN problem on the Disney Plus Website. If you go to the Better Business Bureau of New York and type in Disney Plus, you can read through all their Disney Plus complaints and you will see numerous people who have Disney Plus gift cards that are worthless because the website has some type of software glitch and won't accept them. After calling Disney Plus Customer Service many times over two months, the customer service finally offered a refund in the amount of the gift card that they couldn't accept.
