I'm not sure that this will really help a kid learn to read, but our kiddo does enjoy flipping the pages and listening to the story. It's obviously Frozen 2 themed but no plot and very simple sentences about Olaf. There's a picture on the page to help the kid know which button to press to be read that page. I would expect the most frequent use will be if your kid likes to stay up at night flipping through their books like ours does. ... show more

Bought this for my two year old who is frozen obsessed and she loves it. It has pictures correlating to the buttons on each page that are easy for her to follow and it reads her the story. It is great to keep a little one occupied!

The story is fine along with the pictures. There are buttons to read the story aloud, but unlike other versions in this series, it does not use character voices. It was a bummer to hear a random narrator instead of characters.
