Let’s be honest, this is a low cost item I am reviewing here. The only reason I opted to add a review was because there aren’t many great options to fit this need on Amazon and I’ve purchased this a few times over the years because the previous ones broke. Typically the slider would fall off (adhesive), the clean/dirty placard wouldn’t hold, or something else would happen within the first year. I rebought this item a few months ago (late 2034 or early 2025) and they seem to have fixed those build issues. This is not a magnet. I was expecting a magnet that I could put on almost any metal surface. This is a plastic sign that came with sticky pads you have to apply yourself. A magnet is something that you can stick to the surface and it would not leave a mark if it was removed. The sticky pads will most definitely leave a mark if you remove it and will not be reusable.
