  • Great product at an affordable price
This is a great kit to do your nails at home. I love having my nails done with powder dip at the salon but time doesn't allow me to do it very often. I also hate when the nails grow out and it looks like you need a fill in a week after you have your nails done. This kit is the solution. By doing your nails at home, you can change them out more often and avoid the look of needing a fill in. This kit is super simple to use and comes with everything that you need. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes. I've only used the kit once so far but I am in love with this product. It has only been 4 days since I've applied the powder but so far, it has been very durable. I have received many compliments on my nails. I used 2 coats my first time and it's a little thinner than if I had went to a salon. I think next time, I will use 3 coats for even longer durability. I have bought 2 kits for myself already and 2 more for gifts. Don't pass by on this kit if you want to be able to do your own nails. The application is faster than regular nail polish and dries almost instantaneously so you can go about normal routines very quickly. I have yet to remove the powder so I can't comment on the ease of removal but I suspect that it will be the same as any other acrylic or powdered nail removal. I strongly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Good for beginners
Pattern Name: dip liquid set
I'm new to DIY Dip Powder Manicures. My first go-round was a disaster because I didn't know what I was doing. I watched videos on YouTube and properly learned how to prep and dip. I found that the gel method works better for me but decided to try this out and it works well. I use this as the dip and activator, then apply Modelones Gel Base and Top Coat to finish. I get a great shine! If you follow the instructions and watch some videos, you should be able to get a long-lasting manicure. As for removal, what I find that works well is making sure you break that top coat using an e-file or a coarse grit nail file. Once you remove the shine, any removal method (soak or foil) should work. I use the nail foil wrap removal method and have had no problems so far. Also, for removal, make sure you use 100% pure acetone. ... show more

  • Just Buy It!
Pattern Name: A2-Nude Pink
I waited 2 weeks until I posted this review. The kit is very beginner friendly and super easy to use. My nail shop charges $50 for my natural nails to be dipped. I wanted to save some money so I got this kit and it did not disappoint. It came with various colors and step by step instructions. This was my first time dipping my own nails and it took about an hour. I definitely recommend if your trying to save money but still have your nails looking like you went to the salon. ... show more

  • Easy peasy to put on lil work to get off.
Pattern Name: A3-Elegant Shades
Finally got around to trying this out. Have to say I'm impressed overall. I never do my nails. Don't have a steady hand at all as you can see from my pic. Never get Mani's or pedi's so you know what my lack of skill level is. Lmao at first when you dip in the powder you're going to think this isn't right but just keep on going. The base and top coat really bring out the shine and luster. Not sure yet about the removal process. Hopefully it won't be to much of a pain. It dries super fast so your probably won't be able to smudge it before then. Just make sure you don't get the base coat any where but the nail or you'll be picking off color like me. Think of it this way. A manicure will cost ya more than this kit easily so take the plunge. Excited to try new colors. So had a hard time getting this off til I googled it and found a helpful video. Apparently there are soaking bowls you can use. I didn't have one so I heated up water in a coffee cup and put a small bowl over it with 100% acetone and cotton balls in it. Soak your nails in that for a few minutes and it did start coming off. I will definitely use the dip again but I will need some time between to give my nails a break. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Loved them.
The colors were pretty close to what’s pictured. Super easy to use. But if you don’t do like 5 layers they will crack on you pretty quick. But over all will definitely buy again.

  • Love love love and easy to use
Pattern Name: A3-Elegant Shades
I love this. I can’t go to a nail salon because I’m allergic to something they use- idk what. But I’ve used Modelones Gel polish and loved it so took a chance on the dip. I’m so glad I did! My first try with them wasn’t terrible but this is the second time I did it. I love it and they do last but you have to really follow the steps. It’s super easy for beginners and they look so nice! I didn’t have any reactions either. I feel like I have salon quality nails without the salon price!!! Idk why in the reviews it asks about sheerness. When I see that I think of seeing through and I haven’t had that. It’s gorgeous coloring and strong (if that makes sense). Get it now!!!! ... show more

  • Very good dip powder!
Pattern Name: A2-Nude Pink
I’ve used kiss dip kits and dipwell dip kits and this one is by far my favorite. The powder is so fine so you don’t get clumps, filing is easy, and it only take 1-2 dips to get full coverage! The activator is a little stronger in smell than others but it saturates very well! Overall I’d recommend this kit to anyone. Especially beginners! Super easy and cute! ... show more

  • Easy to use, but watch a tutorial!
Pattern Name: Golden
This was my first time doing a dip manicure. I followed a YouTube tutorial by Marla Kris and followed all of her prep and steps, including a peelable base coat (by UNT) and all the filing/buffing and contouring. I used the color 75 from the "Golden" kit. I kept it simple since it was my first try. I also only did my left hand first, so I could use my dominant hand and see the results. I LOVE how it came out! It's only been a day, so I don't know yet about longevity. I don't have any ridges thanks to following the tutorial, so hopefully it will be a week or more. Some things to note: 1) Stirring the powder before use made a mess. It's filled to the top, so it overflows even with the slightest stir. 2) The activator burned my eyes. It was very unpleasant, and I'm going to try a different brand to see if it's just the way it is, or specific to this brand. Make sure you have good ventilation, but obviously can't have a fan running while using the dip powders. ... show more
