This is basically a scaled-back, dialed-down version of the Dinosaur Survival Guide. There are ten two-page spreads covering most of the popular dinosaurs in Fallen Kingdom (The Brachiosaurus and Mosasaurus are notably absent) and giving some basic facts on each one. There are lots of pretty renders, including some shots not often seen in other merchandise. The cover has some foil on it and looks very nice. The additional stickers and cards help make this book more notable. The stickers are similar to the ones seen on the little sticker pads you can find for a dollar in other stores, but they're bigger here. The cards are simple cardstock, a bit bigger than normal trading cards. They have no text aside from the dinosaur's name on the front and "Dinosaur Tracker!" on the back, so they aren't really trading cards or flash cards, just... cards. You might have some difficulty getting them out without damaging them - I tried to be careful but I still damaged the Indoraptor card while removing them. Still kinda neat though. This is a sticker book that also comes with cards on all of the dinosaurs, including the -IndoRaptor! There is also a section in the first half of the book that details all of the dinosaurs with facts and abilities. It has little to say about the IndoRaptor, so fans won't be spoiled to much before the film is released. My 4 year old loves this book and knows all the dinosaurs in it. So he likes learning more about them and the different terminology like herbivore biped stuff like that. It’s a fun book to pull out it sparks his mind; let him go on about all he knows.

    • What are the cards for?
Says Dino tracker and has cards in the back but I don't see the connection between the cards and the book. Would've been better to set the book up to use the cards. If there was a use for the cards, the lack of directions for use was frustrating. Glad we have our own imagination.

This book is awesome. It has a bunch of playing cards in it too, my 5 and 3 year old request this one all the time. its not a story, but more dino facts of a few dinosaurs
