These are just what our 3 year old son wanted. He loves playing with all of these small dinosaurs. Now as a parent there are some small ones and they are not fun to step on when walking through the house barefoot.

***PLEASE NOTE: Please don't assume that you will get this quality from what comes in the box I have decades of experience painting models and minis.*** I saw this and I had to snag it. I love things like this. I love seeing what I can do to make it as realistic as possible in a scaled down way. The amount of detail that is in these figures are amazing. And if you are into painting minis this kit will not disappoint you, and can be a good launching point learning the skills to paint minis. This is not just for small kids I am a grown adult having a blast with them. I would gift this to friends who love this kind of stuff, and to my friends kids who want to embrace their inner artist. This is a valuable learning tool for people of all ages. With a little time and effort you can get something like this too. Now for the things I didn't like. I had to do a lot of prep because of the amount of flashing from the molds they used to make these. I am assuming this plastic is TPE with a heavy durometer to make it more stiff. First figure I tried to paint I wanted to use a basic primer layer and using spray paint primer for plastics did not cure. I let it dry for 3 days straight and it still had a sticky touch to it. Now acrylic paint works fine on it. I am using cheap acrylic paint which is the same paints in the photo. They adhere fine to the plastic. Being that I am assuming this is TPE rubber I am using talcum powder when the paint is cured to remove the shine. I hope the seller shows these pictures to the person who sculpted these figures. You are a great artist. And I hope my art makes you happy knowing it is bringing an old fart like me joy. ... show more

The Dino’s are good. Slightly smaller than I thought but the big Dino head is cute. The “Handle” and bone latch are very hard to operate. That’s the reason for the 3/5.

Absolutely love these dinosaurs! Thr package came with 8 all plastic and all white different dinosaurs. It also came with washable paint so no worries about spills or paint on hands or clothing. We let our kids do whatever colors they wanted and they all turned out really awesome. The pride they both have in showing off their dinosaurs that the created the colors just shines through them. Cool little storage for dinosaurs it comes with. The toys are very small, I was expecting them to be bigger. the storage head is nice, I'm currently showing my 2 year old to put away his toys and place it all away. Multiple dinosaurs to keep the kid entertained.

I thought this little dinosaur painting kit would be fun as a birthday party activity / favor for a 6th birthday party. It comes with 8 dinosaurs, and while I'm no dinosaur expert (I'll leave that to the 6-year-olds!), they all appear to be different and are well-detailed. The kit also includes 12 different colors of paint, 2 paint brushes, and 2 little paint palettes. The quality is all really nice, but there are 2 things that caused me to give it 4 stars instead of 5. First, the dinosaurs are quite small, which makes it difficult for little hands to manage (the kit is recommended for ages 3-6), and the second thing is that the dinosaurs are plastic and the paint provided does not actually adhere to the plastic. You end up with kind of a mottled look to the paint. It does say in the description that the dinos are plastic, but I guess I assumed that the paint would be a type that works with plastic. Kiddo was a little disappointed, and we definitely won't be using them for the birthday party. But, we did find that you can color them with Sharpie markers and that works (we also experiments with regular Crayola markers and that did not work). If you were willing to find a paint made to adhere to plastic, I still think these would be a fun activity, but maybe for kids who are a little older and have better fine motor skills to manage the size of them. ... show more

I think this is a really cool project for toddlers to do on a rainy day or any other day. It’s fun for them to figure out which colors they want to use and what parts of the dinosaurs they want to paint! Just make sure to put down some newspaper or liners under for the mess! The kids loved doing these and for a 3yo and 4yo, it occupied them for a couple hours even since they each wanted to be as creative and artistic with the colors.
