I decorate cakes but that's not why I bought this. I bought it to spray a nice, even coat of tempera paint on wine glasses so I could laser engrave them. I didn't want to buy an expensive airbrush and compressor for the 42 glasses I had to engrave. This got the job done! When I took it apart to clean it, the silicone ring gasket expanded and didn't want to move to pump it when I put it back together. I rubbed just a touch of cooking spray inside the pump tube and it pumped smoothly again. Don't take apart the main tube housing unless you absolutely have to. It is a neat little gadget if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

I used this to make my cakes gold and silver and it was a quick process, probably took 5 minutes to cover the entire cake. It’s also easy to clean, I thought my silver cake would get gold specks but it actually didn’t.

Love this manual airbrush. I was my first time using it. I did use gold and on buttercream and the airbrush sprayed perfect and uniform. I did cover the area I was using with newspaper, but the spray did not got to it. One of the best products I have use. Best money spend. I will recommend it to everyone that like adding beautiful colors to their cakes.

The media could not be loaded. Usually I don't take the time to write reviews but this really exceeded my expectations. This cut my hand painted sequins job from 2 hours to 15 min covered in edible gold. It didn't clog not once and the glitter sprayed out perfect.
