Bought this as a birthday gift for my 7-year-old and it was a total hit. It feels like a real piano thanks to the semi-weighted keys, not like a cheap toy keyboard. Definitely a full-sized 88 key piano. The sound is decent, but not exceptional. It is definitely great for someone just starting out to see if piano is for them or not. It is bigger than I was expecting and it comes with the pedal and earphones (parents will love the earphones!). It plugs into the wall (110 o0r 220v) and it can be run on batteries. I'm sure our son will enjoy this Christmas present - as he is learning on a really bad "toy" piano right now!
