The camera itself seems to be pretty decent and takes good pictures. It came with a SD card that did not work and I had to go buy a different SD card. After getting a working SD card the camera works but you cannot use the camera without the SD card, there is no internal memory.

When taking pictures half of the time the pictures come out very blurry and other times the pictures are nice and clear. The camera seems to be moody with no reason for the pictures to be clear one minute and blurry the next. When I wanted to take pictures, the screen was blurry and I just snapped and snapped and then the screen randomly became clear and randomly blurry again ... show more

I’m embarrassed that I even purchased this camera . Reading the reviews before I purchased it made me excited. When I received it we’ll it is very small and cheap looking . Anyway I took the camera to an exciting event I bought it for and unless you are standing next to the person photo quality was just useless. I would send it back but for the price I’ll just swallow my pride and learn a lesson. Ugh I don’t know about the battery life I’ll check my junk drawer in a few weeks and see if it’s still charged ... show more

I remember the very first digital camera I bought. It was considered a professional SLR and had a then stunning 8MP (Megapixels) and was the same size as my old Pentax 35mm film camera. I got many great photos out of it, as I should, given the huge expense! It set me back more than two week's pay. Now it's nearly 2023, and I hold a camera that boasts 48 megapixels in the palm of my hand! It could easily slip into a cigarette case, but hey, it comes with a very nice drawstring bag. I have been shooting with it for days and, except for a few times when my own greasy mitts smeared up the lens, the photos were incredible! It took me a long while to post this review because I was going to grab a good, clear photo of the moon - something that your average cellphone can't do, the end result looking like a smear since the cellphone's meager lens cannot focus to infinity - but our fall in Michigan skies have clouded up for the season, it seems. Suffice it to say that this little camera can shoot circles around your iPhone 14 Pro or Google Pixel. It has one job: to take photos, and it does it better than cameras (and phones) several times its size. Nearly the entire back of this camera is screen, so even my old eyes can clearly see what is being photographed, and the modest telephoto is adequate for most jobs. Controls are simple, fumble-free and intuitive. The tiny built-in flash packs a surprising punch! Again, more than suitable for most situations. It even comes with a cute little tripod stand, so you can shoot from a solid surface (table, etc.) and can even use this as a webcam! (And yes, it will also do video.) Finally, it comes with two batteries, just in case the action runs longer than your charge, and there's even an SD card included. That's all the good stuff. On the negative side, the SD card that came with mine was flat out defective. I checked it in two other devices, and it was D.O.A. But hey, no biggie, since most other digital cameras don't include them at all. A fresh one from my stash solved the issue. Also, while the controls are fairly straight forward, reading the instructions is a MUST. To me, they made this able to do so much, it's a bit more complicated than it needs to be. (Maybe I'm being too picky? Perhaps.) But my biggest gripe was the tiny battle I had trying to insert the battery. It goes in only one way, but there's a miniscule piece of metal that blocks it (the instructions are silent as to what to do) and I could only get it in with the help of my multi tool. (Careful!!!) This hints that a quick change of the battery will be...not so quick. Adding it all up, I only held back a little simply because the photos really are very good. When I think back to all of the gear I used to lug around when I shot weddings back in the '70s (yeah, I'm that old, but I make it look good 😆), this camera could've done 99% of everything I needed to do, and Photoshop could do the rest. For those who demand better than cellphone quality but don't want to break the bank OR oof around too much extra gear, this is a near perfect solution! ... show more
