Right off the bat, know these are “styled after” another brand of corduroy tote bags (Notebook Therapy): same basic shape and even the little badge with the leaf in the front. Like most knockoffs, you are trading quality for a better value so that's fair enough I guess. I like the fact that these bags have a zippered interior compartment to more securely hold small stuff. And the 3 sets of snaps on top are great for keeping the bag closed even when it's pretty full. The fabric itself is a little thin, but considering that you're getting two tote bags for eighteen bucks I think it's pretty good. My one star off is for the straps. They are just a little too short I think. When it's in my shoulder, the top of the bag is higher than my elbow; most totes hang lower so you can get into them easily while wearing. ... show more

These are good-looking tote bags that have both a stylish and practical look. I love their corduroy material and light coloring. They come with a small zippered purse, which can hold the essentials that tend to get lost, things like keys, combs, lipstick, phones, money, and sunglasses. The tote bags open and close with three buttons at the top and have a handy inner pocket that zips up. They’re the size of a typical purse and have straps at the top if you want to put them over your shoulder, though the straps aren’t that long. What’s best about the totes in my opinion is their earthy look thanks to the corduroy material. I saw pictures of the tote bags on Amazon showing them being used to put groceries in, and I think that’s a great idea. They also would make for nice gifts, and when you give them as gifts, you could put more gifts inside of them! ... show more

These are well made and durable but a weird size. They are narrow and don't hold too much. I also found the strap handles to be excessively long so the bags hang too low when carrying. They should be for men or women but instead work best as a purse like bag for women to carry over the shoulder. The corduroy tote bags are so versatile and useful. They are a great size and can fit several books for a relaxing day at the beach or your purchases at the market. The corduroy gives them something extra special and the snap closures make them more secure. They are well made and sturdy. These are great basic bags, my wife will use them a lot. We like the colors, especially the yellow, it is fun and cheerful. The corduroy material is soft and good quality, they look and feel well made. The straps are sturdy and comfortable. There are 3 snaps at the top of the bag and the bag can close fairly securely. We like the lining on the inside and the small zipper compartment. Overall we are happy with these bags. They are great everyday bags that are good quality and versatile. There is a small zipper bag that comes with them as well that is super handy. We think the quality is good for the price. I hope this assists you with your shopping. My adult daughter's review: I love, love, LOVE these bags! The yellow color is so saturated and sunny. The corduroy is charming. The snap closure elevates these from the usual tote, and they expand well to hold so much. I keep them in my car and have been surprised at how I've ended up using them almost every day for something (library books, groceries, flowers, picnic supplies, etc., etc.). The price of under $20 for two bags is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. My only wish is that I could choose the two colors I want, instead of having them bundled. I would totally have chosen pink and yellow as the set, rather than yellow and white. But I guess that just means I'll need to buy two sets in different colors! ... show more
