This is a great MeVo camera case, shade & solar powered cooling fan for stadium fencing mounts. I got it to keep my camera cool when stream my daughter's softball games. It has sturdy plastic case with attached solar panel to keep the fan powered w/out drawing from the cameras battery or the powerpack that I use to back up the camera's battery. The panel also works as a shade & the built in fan is great for keeping the camera cool on hot summer tournament days. It will also withstand foul balls into the fence which is honestly is what I was something I was worried about. It screwed in securely to my fence mount. It also comes with an external USB-C female to plug to a power pack if needed and it seems to run pretty efficiently. I do have an external mic which I use - if you use the camera's mic you will hear a faint buzzing from the fan - just an FYI. It has worked great for me.

Bought for our Mevo travel ball camera. Will tell you it can be hard to attach to the fence sometimes. The fan does create a noise on your livestream. It does a great job keeping the camera cool and out of the sun!

You don't always know what you're going to get with affordable items -- but this is the real deal! It works, simple + effective and love how you can point the solar panel any direction you want. Also has a an extension wire in case you want to mount it further away. PERFECT!

I REALLY wanted to like this case, but like another I've reviewed the fan is ridiculously loud. The only option I've come up with is to have an off-camera mic which I'd advise mounting a good distance away to be safe. And even though the case is white, the fan is needed if in direct sunlight and crazy heat like we've had in the Midwest this Summer. I have tested the solar panel and it provides plenty enough power to drive the fan. The three cold shoe mounts are a big help as I've started to use small umbrella, which was purchased to keep the stray shower off the camera, but has since been more helpful in providing shade. The case itself does a phenomenal job keeping the camera dry, but does make cable access a bit challenging. Not impossible, but I wish there was a little more open space inside the enclosure for cable management and to allow airflow as then the fan might not be necessary at all. Even if the overall setup was slightly bulkier, I think the trade-off of the camera not overheating and, in my case, dropping frames and pausing the feed would be the sweet spot.

Fan Works great , the solar panel is large doubles as a shade for the camera too , and it can even charge the mevo camera when the fan isn’t needed , solar panel works on a cloudy day as well , the protective case it self is great and protects the camera as intended , great overall design, quality and performance.
