This does not work as it should. The shaft threads are VERY POOR and does not work smoothly. Also there is only one clip to keep the shaft in place, what this means is unless you clamp tightly this does not hold anything. I work with plastic models so I can not put a lot of pressure on things. Because of this the moving side of the vice keeps moving and does not hold anything properly for me to work with. I would not buy this, and would not recommend this for anyone. ... show more

the First time I tried to clamp it down on someing it snapped and broke and fell apart it’s very cheaply made with cheap brittle metals I waited three months just for it to fall apart
