Most comfortable and functional light work pants i have worn. Pockets are great. If you cut the carrhart pad to fit around the pocket on dickies double knee pants, the pads fit perfect. By large pads. Trim to fit... Also pads seem to work better if you use black side out. to insert curl the left and right sides to center.. can then massage pad flat. If small wrist you can insert arm in knee opening and wiggle thd pad flat. Pad does not fall out!! ... show more

I own both the pants version of this product as well as the shorts. I love the quality of them both. The pants are wonderful, with large pockets and extra knee protection. The one downside is fit. I bought the same size in the pants and the shorts. The 34 shorts fit perfectly while the 34 pants are a bit tight... thank goodness they have a little stretch in them. ... show more

I worked recreation in the Forest Service, which is a tough job. Forest Service uniform pants are rubbish, so everyone looks for something that can take the punishment, has decent pockets and is somewhat comfortable. If you don't know what "recreation" is, it in involves outhouses, trash, weed control, chainsaws, 500 lb picnic tables, etc. These pants handled it all. I carry a lot of different items in the pant leg pockets depending on the job. And I want my cell phone handy. The cell phone pocket was a great idea. The cell phone pocket could have been another inch deeper but when my hands are full and pockets are carrying other items fishing to find the phone to answer a call in my other cargo pants ended in lost calls. Love these pants! Have them in every color. Yes they are work pants, but the look clean and fashionable while being tough enough. Handy for me because I like to look good, but I never know when I am going to fall into working on something, car, yard, house etc,... The material feels tough but isn't stiff and bulky. Also handling this Western Maryland cool down without letting too much wind blow through to my legs. I'm a bit of a Chihuahua, so if they are keeping me warm; they will probably work for you tougher folks out there. They are pretty true to size. I am a 38/31 and the 38/30 fits comfy but a little long in the leg. So they are generous in the inseam. Keep that in mind if you are not going to be wearing boots. Good deal for the price. I like wranglers a little better you can dial the size in, i like the Wrangler dark brown also and it was cheaper these ones run a size long and if you pull them up they ride your butt;-)
