These Dickies socks are the Real Deal Holyfield! After a year and a half of not being able to find the low ankle crew socks anywhere, I was skeptical... but they ARE indeed legit, authentic Dickies brand. Idk why Dickies decided to discontinue their short ankle crew work socks from some time in 2021 through early 2023, because they'd always seemed to sell well when we went to buy. Then one day, <poof> they were gone from existence. We looked everywhere -- at every online retailer, every brick + mortar store, under the sea in the Bahamas, in the deep freeze at Grandma's house... nothing. Nada! They never quit making the full sized crew that you can pull up to your knees, but these are my husband's favorite pair of work socks ever, in the history of all the work socks we've ever purchased. He likes them best because they offer great breathability (a must when working FL construction), the toe portion offers plenty of wiggle room without cramping his phalanges into some weird uncomfortable overlap, and the bottom is lined with a little extra cushion (which helps greatly in steel toe boots all day). I like them best because they endure a beating and last longer than ANY of the other mainstream brands, which I've found these days are just downright flimsy. These wash up great, and since I do take the time to treat the stains with a little Shout, they stay looking new for an impressively long time - despite the heavy mileage that he puts on them! Thank you Dickies for bringing these back and to Amazon for stocking them! We love 'em so much (and didn't wanna risk another 18 months without being able to locate them) that we bought the 2 pack deal, then came back and purchased another! ... show more

Thus of us with larger size feet struggle not only getting comfortable shoes in larger sizes, but socks also. I prefer quarter-cut length socks, just above the ankle. Any shorter, like those 'sneaker socks' and they're annoying and slip down. Any longer and they irritate my legs. Nike Dri-Fit quarter-cut used to be my go-to, as I could get them in large size at the local Nike outlet store, but they stopped selling them in the larger size, and online they could only be found by 3rd-party sellers who sold them at rip-off/scalper prices. I found these on Amazon, and thought I'd take a chance, and am very glad that I did ! They are very comfortable, with slightly more padding on the sole than the Nike socks, but not too much. They are a great fit (for US size 14) and seem to be holding up well thus far. I'm sure I'll end up ordering some more in the not too distant future (as the Nike socks gradually wear out) ... show more

I haven’t had these socks for very long so, I don’t know how well they will last but, for now, they are great. I bought them in brown to wear while doing yard work. I was tired of my socks being stained by dirt and grass and thought the brown would disguise the stains. That theory is holding up. What I didn’t expect was for these inexpensive socks to provide a bit of cushion for my feet. These socks are soft and comfortable. They don’t really supply any support like some athletic socks do. For yard work, I don’t feel as though I need compression arch support. The size chart is kind of useless. I am female and wear a men’s size 7 1/2 or 8 shoe. My feet are crazy wide. I ordered the socks in the 6-12 size and should have gone with the smaller size. The size I bought is not too large to cause a problem but, I have to be careful when donning my shoes to ensure the socks are not bunched up. ... show more

These socks are great! They have a lot of cushion, and the ankle length is good for warmer situations. I use these socks mostly while working and they are some of the best socks to handle long periods of standing/walking! Very recommended!

I was looking for socks that would help my feet not get overly hot/sweaty in my hiking boots. These were wonderful, they are decently thick, I do wish they were excessively thick, but that's not what these are. But for hiking they were PERFECT. Much better than my regular crew socks. Feet never sweated and they remained dry and comfy. I haven't washed them yet, hopefully they hold up well too! They are nice quality, I expect that they will. These Dickie socks are the Best Buy out there!! Come on where can you buy a quality sock for a little more than a dollar a pair! Bought 12 they after trying bought another 12 before price went up!! They truly are worth more than the price I paid! Don’t care about how much cotton and all the other stuff. What I care is when you put the sock on you know right away the quality of the sock!! After reading many of the reviews, I was a little reluctant about purchasing these socks. However, I was very pleased with the quality and fit. I wear a size 14w shoe so the 15-17 works great since the socks do seem to run a little narrow.

I love these socks! I have a size 13 foot and everything I find in the stores generally only go up to a size 12 so finding this was definitely a big bonus. they are very comfortable and worth the price. I like them so much I threw out all my old socks and just bought more of these! like I said in my title I work outside all day and a problem I've had are stinky feet when I get home but these I guess absorb more sweat or something? I don't know butt hey definitely don't smell after a 13 hour shift in the heat ... show more
