Excellent
Size: 40 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have 4 cats and was spending an amazing amount of money shopping for them at Petsmarts and Petcos locally. I wish I would have discovered this food earlier. This 40lb bag lasts us nearly 2 months! If you order it new from Amazon you don't even have to worry about the shipping, it's free (and for something that weighs 40lbs that's a good thing!) The ingredients aren't that great but at least it's not Corn or grains as the first ingredient..so it's passable. I mix the dry food with higher quality canned food to give them that extra boost of protein and flavor since my cats tend to get bored of the same food over and over. I find if I mix it with different flavors of canned food they NEVER get tired of it (it can even be a small can, nothing fancy if you can't afford the high quality stuff). The kibble is large in size but I actually prefer it that way..when the cats come in from a long day outside they are ravenous and the large size of the kibble helps them slow down and actually break it apart..I have never seen them throw up a hairball from this food like they used to from other dry foods and that is saying A LOT! I got so used to wet messes on the floor and now there are none! Add in the the wet food from time and time (not daily) and the kibble becomes easier to eat for them. It keeps their teeth very clean in it's pure form though. All in all I have ordered this bag 3 times now this year since I discovered it and it's saved me a lot of money and a lot of time and my cats are not overweight or lacking in any way. No allergies, shiny coats and full of energy..I simply can't find a reason to complain. ... show more

Great price. Great delivery. Great for my 13 cats
Size: 40 Pound (Pack of 1)
Diamond catfood seems to give my cats nice coats. They all eat it readily. I like the fact that these 40 pound bags are delivered to my home every month. It is better than having to go shopping and haul it home.!

Good nutrition, lack of specific flavoring
Size: 40 Pound (Pack of 1)
The value for the money is great, and truthfully I was skeptical at first because of the lack of specific flavoring and the "maintenance" part, but my cats are fairly active and they LOVE this food. My cats aren't always particular on their food, however, they also used to do well with the recommended portions I gave them until this food, now they want in the bag constantly! I don't know if that's because it digests quickly or they love the flavor, but it's keeping them healthy and active and that's what's important. Personally I've seen that the flavor more comes into play when you have picky cats or cats that don't adjust very quickly to new foods. The ingredients aren't the best but they're definitely not the worst, and the nutrition is very well portioned out for moderately active cats that love to run around for a couple hours then pass out for another 14 in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a healthy, affordable option for their somewhat active cats. ... show more

Even my picky eater loves this food.
Size: 40 Pound (Pack of 1)
My kitty has irritable skin and this is the ..only food.. I found that doesn't cause flare ups. Always fresh, never stinky, Good balance for their intestinal health too. Subscribe and save is a better price than Costco, (purple bag) equivalent and right to my door. All the cats come running when they hear it. Even my picky eater, that doesn't like treats, loves this food. ... show more

Cats are nuts for the taste!
Size: 40 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have my own cats and I also foster for several local organizations. Several months ago the food I normally feed them disappeared from shelves and I found out it was no longer being made. As cat owners know, suddenly switching foods can cause digestive upset, and that's exactly what happened. And then they refused to eat that kind, so I had to switch again. And again. Until Diamond! They are NUTS for this food and none of them have had any issues. It's not top-quality limited ingredient responsibly sourced food but it feeds a lot of otherwise homeless cats and is probably more budget-friendly for a ton of owners than a lot of alternatives, while providing better nutrition than the true budget cat foods. Plus at 40 lbs a bag, even with my current herd it's going to last a while! If your cats don't have any dietary restrictions otherwise, I'd say Diamond is a great middle-of-the-road food that even my pickiest cats adore. ... show more
