I bought this harness for my Agility Star dog. As a 10 year old German Shepherd, I know she will suffer injury and sore muscles from our constant training and trialing. I was excited when the harness arrived and Rainin liked it enough to fall asleep during her first use....however...My friend hurt her knee (running Agility) and she ended up wearing Rainin's harness wrapped around her knee for the 3 day trial we were entered in! It is hard to know when a product is working on our pets, but when a human uses it we can KNOW if it working! After ONE use, Connie's knee was much better, so I let her use it all weekend! Many friends were very impressed with the fast healing we saw!! Thank you for a GREAT product that does what it says it will! We need a vendor that sells these at Agility Trials!!

I have an adult Dachshunds with advanced arthritis,because my dog's physical therapist recommended this device. So I purchased this device, tried it on my dog and I can see that it does help alot with his pain. And it is also easy to use!

I am reviewing “Dialudon Dog Back Brace with Red Infrared Light Therapy for Muscle Joint Pain Relief, Red Light Therapy Devices for Dogs Home Light Therapy Adjustable Wrap for Arthritis, Back Pain”. I have to say right away that I am using this on myself and I do not have a dog. I have had unrelenting back pain for years. I’ve not had surgery, but I’ve been to 4 different pain specialists, 4 physical therapists and 1 chiropractor and they haven’t been much help at all. I’ve been using red light therapy for the past 7 months and have found it very helpful. The unit I’ve been using is not portable and I can’t do anything while I’m using that light except lie down and listen to music or an audio book. I am a small woman; I wear size XS or size 2 and I’m 5’4” tall. This device for dogs fits me quite well and I can wear it around the house whenever I need to. I know they make belt style devices for humans, but my pain is more vertical than horizontal, so this design treats my areas of pain better because it goes the length of my spine. I’m wearing it right now at my desk while using my computer. Upon receiving this, I charged up my Anker power bank battery and then plugged it into the wrap right away. It comes with a pouch for the power bank and the pouch velcros securely to the chest or ventral side of the wrap. There are more lights (72) on the back or dorsal side of the wrap and fewer lights (44) on the chest/ventral side. I unbuckled the waist strap, loosened the shoulder straps and put my arms through and then pulled it over my head. I clipped the strap around my waist. I did put a belt around the entire contraption to keep the lights flat against my back. It basically fits me like a (strapless) tube top. I wore a lightweight tank top under the red light “tube top” and then I put a long sleeved shirt on over everything to keep my arms warm. It works wonderfully for me! I’m very happy with the portable-ness of the unit and I really like the 20 minute timer. I think this would fit a medium to large sized dog well. The maximum size with the shoulder straps fully extended is 32“and the minimum with the straps as short as possible is 24”. The maximum size of the waist straps fully extended is 42“and the minimum with the waist straps as short as possible is 29”. The waist strap has a buckle to get it around the waist but the shoulder strap does not have a buckle, and has to go over the head. It has one button to control it: first press is lights on, second press is lights flashing, and then you can toggle between those 2 modes by repeated short presses of the button. Press and hold the button down for a couple seconds and it shuts off. The flashing mode is to prevent the lights from feeling too hot. Wearing this over a thin cotton tank top, I did not feel that the lights were too hot, but I wouldn’t chance wearing it directly on skin unless I tried the flashing mode first, to gauge the overall heat level. If you have a pet with thin fur (and lots of dogs have thinner chest/belly fur, compared to the fur on their back), you want to make sure it is not too hot for your pet and the flashing mode would be best to try first. This also comes with a plug to plug into a regular AC power wall outlet. Using my Anker power bank, I have run it 5 or 6 cycles of 20 minutes each and still have ¼ of my 10,000mAH battery capacity left. Overall a great way to get some wearable pain relief! Recommended for xs humans and medium to large sized dogs!

After using this product for two weeks I noticed a huge lesion on his back out of nowhere. I never even strapped it against him and only used it while he was lying down and placed it across his spine. I do not recommend.

I had been using this for about a month. I didn't want to try it for long sessions as a safety precaution, keeping them at 3-5 minutes max once a week. I didn't notice a difference in all honesty. My senior dog still seemed to be having trouble, and when we went to our vet about using the therapy brace, I was told to not use it since it wasn't working. I'm giving 2 stars because the brace is indeed made well, just didn't work for my dog. A pity.

We have been using this on my oldest dog since about the 7th now and I noticed that my dog developed a skin lesion on his back. I have no idea if this is from this red-light therapy or not, however, I cannot rule it out either. We have a veterinarian appointment scheduled for after the holiday (that's all they had available). I would caution all to get their veterinarian's approval and specific instructions for the machine they send you because that absolutely matters!
