There’s a good reason Dial Antibacterial Defense hand soap has so many positive reviews. It’s a dependable product that consistently does what it promises. One of the best things about it is the price. For under eight dollars for a pack of four, it’s a great value and hard to beat. I have elderly parents who are more susceptible to illness, so having a reliable soap that helps kill germs is really important to me. This soap gives me extra peace of mind. I got this because Bunnie XO said that it would help with armpit body odor. I live in Texas and in the summer it is hot. Even clean and with antiperspirant by the end of a day you can smell wonky. This absolutely works. Which leads me to believe it’s a great antibacterial hand soap and really does kill bacteria. It lathers well. Not my favorite scent it’s very medical clean smell. When it comes to everyday liquid hand soap, Dial Antibacterial Defense with Aloe in the Gold scent is a consistent performer. This is a straightforward product that does exactly what it's supposed to do: it cleans hands effectively and offers antibacterial properties. The soap lathers well and rinses cleanly without leaving any residue, which is a key factor for me. The "Gold" scent is classic and familiar; it's a clean, somewhat musky scent that isn't overpowering and fades quickly after rinsing. The addition of aloe is a nice touch, as it helps prevent hands from feeling overly dry, especially with frequent washing. A specific use case where this soap truly demonstrated its effectiveness for me was during the aftercare of my first tattoo. After removing the initial Nu-Skin bandage as instructed by my artist, gentle and thorough cleaning was paramount for proper healing. I used this Dial Antibacterial soap for the initial washes, and subsequent daily cleaning. It was gentle enough not to irritate the sensitive new skin, yet effective enough to ensure the area remained clean and free from potential contaminants. The tattoo healed perfectly, with no issues whatsoever, which I attribute in part to the consistent and reliable cleaning provided by this soap.
