I've been using this soap for my entire life, haven't found another soap as simple as this one. It's great and at just the right price point. It doesn't have any extra perfumes in it and is very gentle on the skin. A bar lasts me about a week, but I also use quite a bit every time I shower. I would expect a bar to last about 2 weeks without overusing it. I wouldn't recommend this soap for any sort of moisturizing properties. My wife actually prefers to use this to dry up the oil on her face. I don't feel like it dries my skin out or anything, but it's definitely not as moisturizing as some other soaps I've used. I have used Dial soap for years until Costco and Sam's stopped selling it. Tried other soap and didn't like it. Found this on Amazon for an OK price (not Costco or Sam's bargain, but what can you do). I would have preferred the white instead of the gold (soap scum more noticeable), but beggars can't be choosers. The Dial soap washes well, rinses well and leave no scent behind.
