10 years ago, my doctor removed a boil from my skin and I had cystic acne that was painful. He told me to use Dial Gold to keep the bad bacteria off my skin. Because it contains lanolin, I do not use it daily but every other day because lanolin will dry your skin sometimes. This product is amazing! Body acne from sweat is easily dried up and this soap deep cleans oils and lotions from your skin, like a clarifying shampoo. I feel cleaner and my perfumes also smell better after this clarifying treatment! It will also bring those nasty ingrowns to a halt!

This soap is amazing. I prefer to be honest so yes I did purchase this because of TikTok but I didn’t use it with tea tree oil or anything. This soap some helped clear my acne (face & body) and helped brighten up dark spots but that could have been my cocoa butter lotion (Palmer & Nivea).

I've used ivory and similar products my whole life. I need something that helps to keep me dry and keep odor from creeping up. I tend to sweat just from walking around. I've noticed that this keeps my feet dry and there isn't even the slightest odor unless it's been a long and heavy work day. That's impressive. It does make your skin dry. Depending on your skin, you'll need lotion daily or a few times a week.

Great product! I have used Dial gold for years. It is bit drying in the winter but I don't like oily soaps that leave big oily soap scum on fixtures. This soap does not do that.

I love this soap it is my holy grail. I have noticed that I have less body odor. This soap makes me feel sooooo clean. It can feel drying but I use it on my first to washes when I shower. I then follow up with my favorite scented soap. This soap makes me feel squeaky clean. You will see dirt come off your body. I’ll always use this soap.

After not being able to find liquid Dial anti-bacterial soap (probably due to COVID-19), I was happy to find it in bars and order it. I actually don't mind bar soap at all. I use this in the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower. I don't know how many times a day I wash my hands, but I know it's many. The good news is that the soap does not irritate my skin and does not dry it out. It also does not make the floor or the tub slippery. The bad news is that it leaves a horrible soap film/scum on my stainless steel kitchen sink. (I know it's in the bathroom sink and shower too, but since those are porcelain and fiberglass, it's harder to see.) I never experienced that with the umpteen years I used the liquid version. What's weird is that along with a cloudy film it also leaves a oily film and the water beads on the sink. Attached are three pictures. The first is how my stainless steel sink looks at the end of the day! You can see how cloudy it is. The second is what it looks like after I scrub it with Ajax. Better, but it's still not clean and you can see water beading on it. The third shows what it looks like after I fill the sink with water and add a cup of vinegar, let it sit for 20 minutes, drain the sink, scrub it with baking soda, and rinse. It makes me wonder what's in this stuff and what it's leaving on and doing to me skin. I think I may go back to good old ivory until liquid anti-bacterial Dial is available again.

What a great quality soap product. It lathers naturally without being overdone... But the fine lather is better than most soaps. It's both moisturizing and antibacterial. I just love this soap. It gives me a nostalgic feeling of quality. But it lives up to its name. It's not just hype. I have somewhat sensitive skin but this soap doesn't bother me whatsoever. It has a great, clean scent. Sometimes you could find it for a really excellent price here on Amazon or other locations. If you are on the fence, you don't have to think anymore. It's good stuff. :-)

I bought this soap because I have a problem with reoccurring osteomylitis (bone infection) in my leg which can reoccurring if I even get a scratch or insect bite from bacteria on my leg. I was my leg with this soap to remove the bacteria on my leg and it seems to be working. It does in my opinion dry your skin out and there is no fragrance which is a plus for me because I have a lot of allergies. This product has been around a long time so I feel it is safe to use and works well.

This specific Dial Gold Bar has been in my household for many years !! I got Lots of Kids in the house, always getting scrapes and cuts, this is excellent for that ! Best Antibacterial !!! Dont use anything else but this one! Prevents infections. My strong opinion Folks !
