Edge guard is not flush with the paddle face in many places. Not sure how thar affects shots that are out the on the edge. Might shave it down with an xacto knife. Seems like a good paddle other than that and I didn't spent 200 bucks!

I’m a low intermediate player. I had always played with the Onyx5 that I liked very much until it got loved out. I chose the Icon on recommendation of coach. I like the way it is weighted a bit more evenly with a slightly longer handle and small grip. It is light and quick. I am getting more power and more control.
