I really like these spatulas, they’re flexible and can take a lot of heat. But they are pricey! I took the plunge because of the no questions asked warranty. 1 year later, Somehow, the silicone came away from the tip and the metal was exposed. I entered a claim on their website, was contacted the same day by a lovely rep requesting my order number and a picture. Here’s where Amazon shines, it was easy to find my order number. Less than 2 weeks later, I have a new spatula. Recommend everyone buy these spatulas early on, I wish I had purchased them 20 years ago! They’re the right tool for the job and the company stands behind them.

I love Di Oro products. Their spoonula and spatulas are some of the tools I use and like the most. I really wanted to like these and I think I would have if they weren't as big or I just need to make bigger pancakes.

Couple of months back, my husband let me know the metal was wearing through at one of the corners on the standard spatula (not really sure what he was using it for...). I contacted di Oro and was issued a replacement without a hitch. Great company.

The di Oro silicone spatulas are by far the largest cooking utensils I own. I honestly giggled when I opened the box because of their enormous size. The long turner spatula was a big as my hand and the standard turner spatula was bigger than my palm. Granted, my hands are on the smaller size, but the spatulas’ surface areas are laughable. The large size, though, is completely advantageous when lifting and/or turning many large ingredients. For instance, you can use the round spatula to glide under an entire pancake to flip it. You can also slide under a fish fillet and transfer it from pan to plate without part of the fish hanging off and possibly breaking. The spatulas are heat-resistant up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes them great tools when lifting proteins and other items from a dish straight out of the oven. I have limited counter space when cooking so I usually leave my cooking utensils on a holder in the middle of my electric stove. The spatulas’ heat resistance prevents any melting or discoloration while around hot electric burners. Silicone is chemically stable so it won’t react with food and liquids nor will it release vapors over its lifetime of use. This BPA-free material makes the spatulas safe to use in any kitchen. They are also nonstick so you can use them with any pans you own without causing damage. Food will not stick so it’s easy to maneuver your ingredients when cooking. Please advise that when certain items are extremely oily, they can slip off the surface of the spatula. I think this issue is common with most nonstick utensils, but with caution, you shouldn’t have any problems with food flying away. The handle has a matted texture so it is easy to maintain a strong grip even when your hands are wet. There is also an indentation on each handle for your thumb to support your grip. The body of the spatula is made of stainless steel which increases the strength and durability of the product while providing flexibility. The spatulas are dishwasher safe and their nonstick quality makes them even easier to clean. However, there are gaps present on the handle where the silicone meets stainless steel. Whether you wash by hand or a dishwasher, water can get trapped in these gaps if they are not dried properly. This can lead to the growth of mold, yeast, and bacteria. I highly recommend you dry these spatulas with the handles up so that any water trapped in the handle drips down. (And please do the same with similar items.) These spatulas are made of quality materials. The only negative aspect of this product is the attachment of the handles. I would still recommend this set to anyone, especially at a $24.99 price point. Just keep in mind that you need to dry these properly to avoid any growths. Please Note: I purchased this spatula set at a discounted price for an impartial evaluation as written in the product review above.
