This adds to the over value and comfort. Metal frame is quite sturdy but took a few hours to assemble. Instructions were reasonably clear. Super important to follow each step as written. And to ensure the the L and R spring mechanism that allows the chair to fold into bed position is properly aligned in the same direction before tightening the screws. Full size was as advertised. I love my futon. There was considerable assembly involved but, it wasn't complicated at all. It took about one to two hours by myself. It was affordable and included the mattress, while most times you had to buy the frame and mattress separately. It was just what I needed for a small bedroom area it was meant for. I bought this for a spare bedroom. I thought the metal frame might make noise. I also thought it might not be that comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that neither of those things were true.
