I have been looking for a budge proof over patch since I was given the Dexcom 7 in March 2023. Before Lexcam I used adhesive tapes and waterproof clear bandages. Lexcam is sweatproof, swim-proof, and body wash-proof. Easy to put on and take off; if you have loose skin, it might hurt a little to remove.

I used to use their patches for my G6 and I loved them, they kept me at ease of my sensor falling even though it wasn’t a real issue to begin with, Now the G7 sensor on the other hand, I lost 5 sensors within a 2 weeks. They don’t stick to my arm, period. I bought other type of patches and they were mediocre at best and put too much pressure on the sensor, the middle wasn’t cut out and I just didn’t like them plus they still fell off. Well I decided to get skin tac and my first sensor with skin tac stayed on, I added skin tac to the sensor itself and the overpatch that Dexcom sends. Later on the same day I applied the patch I noticed it started lifting, so naturally I grabbed a lexcam overpatch and tried to add more skin tac to it so it would be disturbingly difficult to remove, well, wrong. Skin tac makes these patches useless basically, they don’t stick after rubbing skin tac on them. Other than that I applied one without skin tac on the overpatch and it went awesome, as usual.

Patches are very easy to apply however they only last about 6 days for me and I try a new patch on top because if I take the other off my Dexcom comes with. I do sweat excessively so may just be me.

I like this product— it’s less noticeable with my G7 and the adhesive power is great. After 6 wears, I’ve only had one that had a bit of piling around the edge. It stays on great and comes off easy once you’re ready to remove. You must be aware that your skin might react negatively to this product and it might not be for you. I originally thought I was having an allergic reaction but really I just needed to use a removal wipe made for removing adhesives. Definitely make sure to remove all the residual adhesive as leaving any can irritate your skin. Overall, I am happy with this product and find it works like a charm for securing my device.

Had to try several over patches until I found one that I was not allergic to. This works well on my stomach. Tried it on my arm but because the patch leaves the sensor exposed, the sensor still got caught on things and pulled off.

We bought the G7 version of these stickers as soon as we started on Dexcom. We have a very active child that swims non-stop all summer so we knew right away that we needed something above and beyond the patches that came with the Dexcom. We have used about 6 patches so far and not one has even been close to peeling off. I also like that they are clear so the Dexcom isn't as noticeable. They hare a little hard to get off but I would rather have them stick tight and be hard to remove vs. having them peel off easily. My son's arm is a little red after removing it but it goes away within two hours or so and you can't even tell it was on. We use some skin adhesive remover to help with the removal process. This will be my go-to brand from now on.

I have had problems keeping the primary Dexcom sensor on my body when I'm working in the garage or outside in the heat. I've had to "waste" several because they have come off while I'm working due to the combination of sweat and motion. I like that they are clear and have a hole for the transmitter so you can change it if you need to without taking the sensor off. These are great if I put them on the day before I need to work outside and give them time to adhere to wherever I place them. Something to take into consideration. I have found that these take overnight or at least several hours to fully adhere to my skin. I've tried cleaning the area beforehand, shaving it, etc. It doesn't really matter what I do, the edges of the patch don't go down fully until I give it a bit of time to "stick". Based on my experience put them on a few hours before then you should be good to go. So, don't put this on right before you swim, sweat, etc., and expect it to stick.

I've struggled for 5 years to find an adhesive that doesn't irritate my skin or peel off after one shower or workout. Decided to give this a try after the dexcom adhesive ripped my skin apart and left it dry and scaly. This product is perfect. It never peeled up, didn't irritate my skin, and lasted the whole 10 days. It does get kind of wrinkly near the end of its life, but the corners still don't peel up. I will be recommending this product to everyone I know!
