A bit on the lightweight side but is well suited for training purposes. I suggest keeping it out of the weather when not in use. The net can blow over in moderate to heavy wind so use caution. Height and angle adjustment are good.

With Prime, it said it would take two days for this item to show up at my door, and I was shocked when it came the very next day. I would’ve knocked a star off for the horrible assembly instructions and the fact that it doesn’t show images of all the possible combinations (or even just two or three more would’ve been helpful). I gave a star back when I was done putting the thing together. I was amazed at the sturdiness and how quickly I’ll be able to assemble and disassemble it, which is a big deal bouncing back and forth between two gyms, so I gave the star back. After reading previous reviews, I was expecting a mis-match of PVC parts and was pleasantly surprised by the size and the fact that everything besides the net was metal. Great purchase! ... show more

This has become such a staple at our practices to work on passing. My girls often have not had prior volleyball experience or they have but have bad habits. This allows me to run practices a little bit more efficiently since Im usually running them on my own so having a visual target, other than a person, somehow works for this team. Drawback is that the instructions were a little difficult to follow. It doesn't tell you that two of the poles don't get put on at the same time if you are looking to adjust the height. Which is odd since one of the poles is a telescoping pole so you think thats how you adjust the height but that there is an alternative. Another thing is that the PVC hoop sometimes comes undone when it gets hit too many times. Just make sure you have it on there securely and you won't have to reattach too often. Last thing I will say is that I wish it were easier to adjust the angle of the hoop. Not necessarily a construction issue because thats easy to maneuver, but since Im vertically challenged (5' 4") it makes it difficult to adjust it's normal height. It does work great though and its improved the focus of my girls during practice. ... show more

I really love this net!! Setting technique & accuracy has improved already. We pack it in the SUV 'trunk' and go to the gym or just set it up on the driveway for a quick practice! Easy set up/breakdown into 3 parts. We do use something to anchor down the base, it only tipped once before we started doing that. ... show more

Had this product for sometime. I used it twice and noticed the connectors start getting loose. If the base and the stem was more reinforced, I think this would be a great product.

If I was just reviewing the top half of this trainer I would have given 5 stars. The problem is the bottom half is cheaply constructed and required modifications for it to be even close to sturdy. See pictures. I was very disappointed that they sacrificed quality in the name of portability. And even with the brace we built it still has issues but at least it is workable. Seriously considered returning this product, but with the brace modifications, it is actually a nice setting trainer. I just don’t understand why they would build such a nice top half and put it on such a crappy bottom. ... show more
