Difficult to cut hole and leave material to install bolts, though very quiet.

    • Screw provided do not fit the fan
The screws will not fit the fan. Do NOT try to use a screwdriver, the screws are very cheap and very easy to strip. You have to carefully predrill the screw holes and hope you don't overdo it. I ended up getting quality screws and using a drill.

    • Quiet. Move lots of air
Worked well for a cabinet I built to house an aeration pump used in a pond aeration system. One fan directs air into the cabin, and the other fan pulls it out. Pump runs nice and cool with these pulling air through the cabinet. Glad they are waterproof; occasionally they will see a sprinkle or two. Super quiet.     • Will do the job
The screws are incorrect for the design of the casing. The screws provided are only threaded halfway up. In order to use them as intended, the threads would need to be the entire length of the screw. Solution: drill out the threads on one side so the screw will go in. Otherwise, this fan will do the job I purchased it to do. ... show more

I installed into the dog house. I like that it has a plug and long enough to reach my outside receptacle. Nice flow. It's not silent but not noisy enough to disturb. I actually like that its not silent. It reminds me to unplug it. Ha.

    • Solid fan with wrong hardware
The fan is precision built and the output is great. The provided hardware for the blade guards does not fit. I tried screwing it from both directions and it just will not go in. Both holes are threaded which is puzzling. Also, the screw length would leave them sticking out 2 inches if they did go through the hole. I took some tie straps through each hole and that did the job of keeping the fan blade guards on. The fan is very quiet. Maybe manufacturer should have tried putting one together before shipping them. ... show more
