I bought this makeup mirror to help me put in contact lenses. I have never worn contacts & thought I had a mirror here; I did not. I ended up choosing this mirror & I LOVE IT!! This mirror is just the right size. The magnifying areas could be a little bigger but the mirror itself is the perfect size to set & put make up on or like in my case, put contacts in. I like it it’ll do the job

I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t turn on for the longest time and you don’t need batteries to turn it on as long as you have it plugged in and I don’t have batteries for it so I have it plugged in.. I had a mess with it quite a bit and I let it stay on charge for about 30 minutes just in case-not sure if you need to do that or not, but I did it anyways(put it on charge for 30 minutes) but I did finally get it turned on. You have to hold for a couple seconds on the power thing in the center when you open it… I just needed a mirror that I could use to be able to perm my own hair in the next couple days.. I wanted to be able to see what I was doing while I rolled my hair up-I also got the hair water bottle too. I used to do my own hair a long time ago I color my own hair. I do the highlights in my own hair and I perm my own hair because this way if I screw it up that’s on me but when you do a perm, you can’t screw it up no matter which way you roll your hair. Keep that in mind. .. but the mirror is gonna work out. Perfect I hope… it’s a cute mirror. It’s a good size mirror and I think you would enjoy this so go ahead and buy it. I would’ve got the paint but financially, I couldn’t afford it so I went with the cheaper one and I’m still very happy with it

Magnified Area Too Small

This is the second makeup mirror I have ordered from Amazon (I returned the first one). I thought this might be "the one," but I'm just not sold yet. My issue is with the magnified portion of the mirrors. The middle mirror and the mirror on the left are normal mirrors, which are fine. The right panel is divided in half with a higher magnification on the top and a slightly lower one on the bottom. So, basically you're doing your detailed makeup application (eye shadow, liners, etc.) in that small section. If I designed it, I would have had the middle normal and each side panel magnified. That way you get a fuller picture of what you're doing. That being said, everything else is good. It swivels up and down so I can adjust it and the light works well. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it yet. I thought I might need time to get used to it, so we'll see. I miss my old Conair.

Works great until Micro-USB Breaks

The mirror and light works great when the plug is working; however, after not even 6 months of use, the micro USB port has stopped working. The mirror is not as bright on battery power as it is plugged in. I'm really disappointed because I LOVE this mirror. I looked to see if I can contact the company for replacement, but I don't see any way to do so, and a replacement cost too much for it to only work for less than 6 months.
