Description

This cordless kit includes one 3/8-inch impact wrench, two 12V MAX 2Ah batteries, charger, and tool bag. This cordless impact wrench is designed for hard to reach applications requiring tighting or loosening of nuts and bolts. At only 5.1-inch long it is packed to perform with 1,500 in-lbs of fastening torque and 2,400 in-lbs of breakaway torque. It also features 3 LED lights positioned on the nosecone to illuminate work areas. This DEWALT impact wrench is equipped with a 3-mode switch with Precision Wrench to help prevent overtightening and run off.

Very good product! I have this and the screw gun which is the same size. These two tool are used a lot for around the house and working on my car and real time savers vs wrenching or turning a screwdriver. The battery size fits both of my tools. I’ve had the screw gun for years and added this tool to compliment it. You’ll only get a year or two out of each battery with regular use. Don’t leave the battery on the charger (that will kill it). Upgrading from a 1/4” impact driver to this 3/8ths impact wrench was a life changer. I was on the fence about it but being a lube tech and constantly removing skid plates and panels it saves the day.     • Basically like using a 1/4" ratchet
Not strong enough to take off any suspension bolts on my 30 year old honda civic. It won't take off lugs torqued at 80 lbs. It's for very light work. I watched youtube videos of a guy going into a junkyard and just taking rusty bolts off junk cars. I had fully charged my batteries and could not do it on my own car. I doubt it would work for rusty bolts etc. I have a 18v Ryobi that destroys this little thing. I can take off 80lb lugs with a near dead battery on the Ryobi. But it's light weight, good for taking off once you break the bolt. ... show more

    • Works best with small fasteners
Use this for fasteners on my car. It does not have the power to loosen the lug nuts on my wheel (19mm lug torqued to 81 lb-ft) but does a good job quickly putting the nuts back on to be torqued with a torque wrench. But it works nicely for removing smaller fasteners such as the M6's used everywhere on my Volvo. Think it can torque to maybe 20 lb-ft with a few second of impact. But it's small and fits into the tiny spaces in my car. Though an impact rated extension set is a must have. It's easy to carry around and the battery seems to last forever for an average user like me. Feels really good in the hand. ... show more
