Description

System Lux Women's Rear Entry Step-In Snowboard Bindings : The all new female specific Lux snowboard bindings are set to be a game changer. Featuring their state of the art rear entry/step-in design, these bindings are easier to get in and out of than any you have used before! Say goodbye to sitting down to strap in, or messing with straps and buckles, System's Lux bindings let you set it and forget it! Just slip the hi-back down, slide your foot in and ride away! Unlike other rear entry bindings, the Lux ankle strap automatically opens to provide tons of room to fit your entire boot, and then cinches back down with one quick lever! The patented design of the rear cable locks the hi- back in place and actually tightens with pressure, making your bindings stronger and more responsive the harder you ride, all while keeping you firmly attached to your board! But the tech doesn't end with getting in and out of these, the Lux also features full EVA padding on the hi-back and high density dampening on the footbed for a plush, comfortable ride! The 3D molded ankle strap is covered in highly durable polyurethane that offers maximum comfort and instant response! Toolless forward-lean adjust, covered baseplate and sliding strap adjustments make tweaking the Lux to perfectly fit your boot and riding style a breeze! Finally System has released an easy in, easy out step- in style binding that actually focuses on performance! Footbed: High Density Dampening The Lux utilizes high density dampening pads through both the heel and toe ramp of the binding. This reduces board chatter and shock from impacts while creating a smooth cushioned ride! Whether it's icy chop, big drops, or fast lines, the Lux will feel like you're riding on a cloud. Straps: 3D PU Molded Straps 3D Molding: A molded 3D ankle strap allows it to naturally and more securely fit around your boot. Warranty: 3 Year

  • Don't believe the disgruntled ones!!
I can't wait to take these babies out on the slopes! My first set of "regular" bindings were a nightmare for me personally as I'm old and not in the best shape and can barely reach the bindings to do them up! The System Lux bindings are amazing - they fit so well and are so secure and they certainly DO fit boots size 6 to 9! My boots are an eight and I could easily make them fit a nine so if someone is writing a review that they don't fit then it's because they're not adjusting it right! Probably because their heel isn't back far enough? anyway.... now I might get enough response to my board to actually learn how to do it well! I try everything before I hit the slopes and these are super easy in/out! And not bad pricing either, wish I had gone with these in the first place! ... show more

  • 10 year old daughter loves them!
I bought these due to price and ease of strapping in. My daughter has an older Burton board with the older 3D mounts. The mounting discs that came with the bindings didn't work, but we were able to re-use the mounting discs from her broken older Burton Stiletto bindings and they worked great. It's important to adjust the toe strap properly the first time. If the boot is too far back in the binding, it will be difficult to open and close. I think this is why some people had issues with the binding popping open or being difficult to close. Once adjusted properly, it took my daughter a few runs to get used to getting in and out while standing, but now she loves them. They have held up well after 6 days of snowboarding. ... show more

  • Great rear entry bindings without the Flow price tag
I'm an older snowboarder and have only used traditional 2 strap rachet bindings since I started snowboarding back in the 90s. The 2 strap system wasn't a problem back in my 20s but takes too much energy and easily fatigues me with all the bending down to strap in, now that I'm in my 40s. I needed a better binding system but wasn't sure if rear entry was any good vs traditional. At first I looked at Flow bindings but didn't want to pay the hefty price tag just to try and then I found these!!! Boy was I impressed when I first locked my lead foot in, I wasn't huffing and puffing bent over racheting 4 straps and taking breaks between straps to catch my breath so I wouldn't pass out. These bindings made it so much easier and saved me so much energy that I was able to last longer on the slopes. Super easy to get in and out without much effort. And response time from heel to toe was the same as my traditional 2 strap. I would recommend these for people who have been thinking about rear entry bindings, these are legit!! ... show more

  • Great snowboard bindings!
I have used these bindings at the mountain 4 times this season, and so far they have worked great! I have never used step-in bindings before, so at first they were a bit difficult for me to manage, but this could be true of all step-in bindings. You can't necessarily sit and put your foot into them (which I suppose defeats the purpose) you have to put your foot in the bindings while standing or in a "crabwalk" position or your boots will not be able to insert correctly. I got the hand of this fairly quickly, but the first few times were difficult and it was a bit frustrating. Now it is a breeze and I can strap-in off the lift incredibly fast! My advice for these bindings would be to adjust the straps before you go snowboarding, as it can be difficult to unbuckle them for adjustments when your hands are cold on the mountain. My only complaint is I noticed after the first time I went boarding my boots (which are maroon colored) left purple stains on the bindings, but it could just be stained due to the white color of the bindings. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Awful product
Horrible binding. Difficult to secure and they destroyed my other equipment. The strap in system sounds efficient in theory, but is completely impractical in use. You cannot sit on the ground to put these bindings on, so unless a mountain has benches for strapping in, you must stand. This is an issue as you can start sliding away, and you can’t use as much leverage or else you could fall over or start moving around. Also, at one point I spent 15 minutes trying to unstrap from them, but they were stuck and wouldn’t release. I finally gave up and undid all the locking mechanisms in order to free my foot. What I discovered was that it had dug into the sole of my boot. Every time I tried to release the rear lock, it just pressed down harder into the sole until it completely ripped most of the sole from the fabric part of the boot. This was halfway into the second day of using them. It ended my day and I had to buy both new bindings and new boots too. Absolutely horrendous. ... show more

  • Super bindings. Buy these.
Purchased for 14 year old daughter. She loves not having to ratchet every run! She's in bindings in a flash. Didn't realize the sequence at first, have to slide in, rear latch, then ankle buckle. To release, just pop the rear latch. She gives five stars. Light, easy, fast.

  • the design for the holes is a weird pattern and I was lucky to line up 3 holes.
I love them. I can actually stand properly on my board now. Can't wait to try them out .
