I use this for outdoor yard work and has 3 heat levels indicated by the color of the on/off button: high (red), medium (white), and low (blue). It comes with its own battery and battery charger and it worked perfectly with all my other Dewalt 20V batteries from other Dewalt tools. The only trick I discovered is that you have to hold down the 'On' button for about 5 seconds to turn it on the first time. Once it is 'On' then every click of the button lowers the heat level one step. You can really feel the heat on the back, front chest and the arms and it feels awesome on winter mornings during outdoor yard work on in the evenings watching the sunset after a day using Dewalt leaf blower, lawn mower (which uses 2 batteries), edge trimmer, electric drills, circular saw or hedge trimmer. Yes, I guess you could saw I am 'all in' on the Dewalt battery platform. One other cool thing about the jacket is that it comes with a connector for the battery that includes a USB charger for your phone. If the battery ever runs out, I can swap it in a few seconds with any other of my Dewalt 20V battery collection, and it has a couple of zipper pockets to hold my phone or another backup battery. ... show more

Very nice and comfortable jacket. It appears as though I received a previously purchased item as there are dirt spots/stains on the jacket and the tags were ripped off and placed in the box. The charging adapter has black streak marks on it. It warms up nicely and is true to size.

Arrived with threads hanging from a few seams, lining separated up top near the collar within a few weeks. It's fairly comfortable, but nothing to write home about. Pocket for the battery is too flimsy, could've been designed better. Collar also tends to pop itself, can't keep it down. Zipper sticks about 1/3 of the way up, still able to make it work for now. If the construction was slightly higher quality this could've easily been a 4 star item, as is it needs repairs ... show more

They moved the switch from the inside to the outside of the upper left chest. The light reflects into my glasses and causes a glare that is annoying. how ever it does keep you warm
