  • Dewalt coil nail gun taking the difficult out of work
Great tool. Easy to use and lives up to the Dewalt brand name. Sturdy, well built construction.

  • Great quality nail gun
Great quality nail gun. Bought this nail gun to replace the siding on my house and shed with Hardie plank. I did my 8’x10” shed with it first and adjusted my nail depth. On the shed I got a fair amount of double fires but by the time I got started on the house I almost never have double fires, not sure if that was the gun breaking in or me getting used to it. I’ve never had a jam of any sort. The gun is light weight, but feels well made. Nails load easily. I’ve been using a 6 gallon compressor and the gun doesn’t kick it on too often. I started the project hand nailing, but nails bent often, and pre-drilling holes was time consuming, so I ordered this gun and it really sped up the project. I’ve only used dewalt brand nails with the gun I picked up at the orange Big box construction store so that may be part of the reason I’ve not had any jams. I highly recommend this gun and enjoy using it. The case is very nice as well. I told my wife I’d sell the gun after I’m done with the house, but I’m definitely keeping even though I’ll likely never use it again. Great product! ... show more

  • Apparently if a tool like this has been refurbished
Apparently if a tool like this has been refurbished, there was a problem. I decided to try it because the problem or problems should be solved. So far I'm very pleased with the operation of this tool, although I've only used it for a small job (a coil of nails or two). So far no jamming but a double nail or two due to operator error. Also, I haven't figured out the depth adjustment to my satisfaction. I believe consistent air pressure plays a big part in this. The tool and case looked new when it arrived. I only rated it a 4 because it's not been truly tested in my opinion. ... show more

  • Does not looked re-conditioned.
I bought this nail gun as a refurbished unit. It was advertised to look and work like a new one. I'm picky about the appearance of my tools so when this came with a big "R" carved in the side I was disappointed. The air port was also full of Teflon tape. It did not look like there was much attention paid to either it's appearance or it's operation. I contacted the seller who was surprised about the condition of the gun but did not take any action other than assure me it should not have arrived that way. I tested it out and it seemed to work ok so I'm keeping it but I'll always wonder just how much refurbishment it underwent. I assume the "R" was a permanent mark to show it was not purchased new. Come on. It looks really tacky. At least stamp it. It's obvious that someone carved it in with an engraver freehand and not with very steady hands. ... show more

  • What happen to good quality tools??
I thought I was buying a superior quality tool - wrong! I've used it throughout the summer installing 300 feet of fence and clapboards on our home so not a serious workout for the tool. Within five rolls it began jamming once or twice per roll. The overall quality of the unit looks and feels of very low quality. In all fairness all of these "made in China" tools are of very low quality. If your force into needing the tool like I did at least pay the lowest price possible. ... show more

  • Good Product
I liked everything about this unit except I could not get it off of automatic fire. I would pull the trigger to hit one nail but it would often hire multiple nails.

Muy buena clavadora. Rápida, segura, robusta, y sobre todo los clavos no se atascan. Había comprado una nueva, pero la tienda me envió una refaccionada, aún así ha funcionado a la perfección.

  • Excellent Nail Gun
Does a great job. I'm doing Red Cedar Shingle siding, this gun has not misfired one time. I've fired over 3200 nails so far and it works as expected. DeWalt makes a great tool, I would recommend this nail gun as it has saved me a huge amount of time and arrived in like new condition.
