On about the 5th use the laser would only spin intermittently. Called service center they said send it and they would check it out. We called them 3 weeks later and they said that they determined it was under warranty ( less than 6 months old ) and that it would be sent to the laser service center (Alabama) soon ....?????? I have owned this for a bout 3 years and have used it only about a dozen times. Today the rotary motor failed. Unacceptable for a $1000+ piece of equipment.

This laser is a piece of crap. It is not even a Dewalt product. Was delivered brand new out of calibration and has to be sent to a 3rd party repair shop and will be out of commission for 2-3 weeks according to Dewalt repair center. I would highly recommend not buying a laser from Dewalt. Very disappointing. ... show more
