I was a bit hesitant getting the blade after reading all the reviews. Yet, I needed something to cut panels. They are 3/4 particle boards, finishing panels for kitchen cabinets. The blade worked great. I did several cuts. The trick is to do it slowly enough for the blade to keep spinning fast and do it STRAIGHT. Any attempt to change the course and it would start smoking and getting stuck. I guess that could be a problem with some of the other reviews. It did not get dull whatsoever. When cutting 3/4” plywood with a circular saw and a track guide, this blade wanders to the left and to the right and cannot cut straight. It jams, burns, and kicks back because it is not cutting straight. I ruined half a sheet of plywood trying to figure out what was wrong with my new circular saw and new track guide. Then I replaced this blade with a 60 tooth Diablo carbide blade and it cut straight and clean right on the first try. ... show more

I give it 4 stars simply because the description if incorrect. The blade is described as having a "Diamond Knockout Arbor". Nothing could be further from the truth. It has a simple 5/8" hole for a simple 5/8" arbor. Nothing more. I suspect the description was copied and pasted from a similar product made by Irwin. The Irwin blade has a knock out diamond arbor. But whoever pasted the description for this blade obviously is lazy and lacks sufficient knowledge of saw blades to check the details. Too bad as it makes Amazon look like the purveyors lies. ... show more

I was having trouble cutting 3/4" plywood. The saw would slow down, burn wood, set off my smoke detector, and sometimes just stop altogether. I assumed I was doing something wrong, even checked that I put the blade on correctly. Finally, decided to try a different blade and the problems went away.
