I bought this blade to use on my Craftsman 19.2 volt circular saw to cut 5/8 inch poly carbonate hurricane panels. It worked well leaving a decent finished edge. Be sure to wear eye protection if cutting poly carbonate panels.

Do you Walt may be a big company and probably has many changes but they are not updating their sales ads. This product was made in Thailand and not China. This also has yellow on the inside or the pictured one is on the outside. I was thinking the yellow was a type of Teflon it made it easier to cut acrylic. Have not tried the blade yet it may be a good replacement but it looks a lot different than what was advertised ... show more

The first time I used this blade, it chipped my vinyl siding. After realizing my cordless circular saw rotates in the opposite direction, I flipped the blade and cut vinyl for hours and days on end. Wish I would have ordered this blade earlier in my siding job. Someone should tell Dewalt to put their label on the other side :) ... show more

    • Used this to cut Lexan (plexiglass). Worked great!
I had to cut a ½" thick piece of plexiglass for an arcade marquee. This blade sliced right through it, didn't melt the plastic and couldn't have done a better job.
