works great. not even one jam after using all day. used BHTOP coil nails from amazon. easy to load. small 20V battery lasted all day. unit is a bit heavy but saves a lot of annoyance working with pneumatic or corded tools. highly recommend.

Smacks nails fast and hard runs well with standard nails. I ran 1-1/2" nails out of it. Does tend to hit hard, I had to back out the adjuster all the way on mine to get the setting right. These aren't cheap tools but they deliver on power and performance. Battery life is going to be less on these than the old version as the tool runs for about 5 seconds after pressing the foot down. But this does increase the performance of the tool as the flywheel stays at peak for longer. Much more consistent nail delivery than the old design. These are built to last. I treat mine like little babies, wipe them down kiss there booboos and tuck them in with a bedtime song but even if you beat them up they'll stand up to the punishment. Don't drop it off the roof onto cement but that's too much to expect from any tool. All of these flywheel tools are large and heavy. Be prepared for a bit of lugging, but no cords and no hoses is a benefit that a bit of extra weight is worth.

I used it to roof my house. Like all my dewalt cordless guns, it worked great. It shoots hard. Had to dial it back all the way possible to keep from shooting through the shingle. One fully charged battery lasted pretty much all day.

I have many DeWalt tools that use the common 20v battery. I love them all including this roofing nailer. It is very powerful and adjustable. I am not a professional roofer. Just a home owner that needs to repair sections of roof at times. I would recommend it for that purpose.

Did my entire roof with this gun. Only a few jams. Used two different brands of nails and two sizes. No problems. A bit heavy but easy to use. Does not come with battery or charger. Must buy separately.

Definitely heavier than an air coil nailer but is very handy not needing a hose especially when doing smaller jobs. Works well.

Well-built and powerful. This nailer just like the Metabo is quality made and performs flawlessly. Not too heavy like the Metabo but enough for positive control and use. I use primarily use all Dewalt but have experience with other brands. I am not knocking the others because I like Metabo as well. I only needed the tool because of all of the chargers and batteries I have so this was a no brainer. It will not disappoint unless you don't know what you are doing.
