  • Five Plus Stars!!
Love love love this device! I purchased this for use on my hip. I have hip impingement alongside fibromyalgia. If you are unfamiliar with fibromyalgia, it increases the pain being processed in the body so my hip impingement really hurts at times even though the damage isn't severe. So I was willing to give it a try knowing the fibro alters the pain being received and this device wouldn't work for me. BUT IT DOES!!! I was having to ice my hips daily sometimes before and after activity. I used the Laser Touch One twice a day and saw significant improvement in my pain and my ability to tolerate activity after only 2-3 days. I was able to stop using the ice packs (see my other reviews if looking for a good ice pack ;) completely as long as I stick to using the Laser twice a day. I had neglected the twice a day for a few days and my pain came roaring back which was an interesting experiment. The literature says you can use it up to five times a day so I'd advise people working themselves up to that limit until they find relief. I have also been using it on my arm at the elbow. Along with fibromyalgia I have myofacial pain syndrome which often accompanies fibro. With MPS, you get muscle knots that are like mini electrical knots. They can lay silent on your body causing pain elsewhere due to shortening your muscle and they can hurt with and without touch. I found when I ran the Laser over my arm, the TENS (on lowest setting) would pick up these trigger points causing electrical type pain. That was fascinating! The great thing is you will often not know these trigger points exist unless you press all over and find them. I knew the one was at my elbow but there was another one a few inches away that was detected by the Laser. The only negative I have is it would be nice to be able to turn the TENS part off because even with it at it's lowest setting it hurts to run it over some trigger points. However, since I could not turn it off, I kept at it despite the pain and could feel over the course of a few days that trigger point getting smaller. The changing size could be felt from the TENS hitting the spot. I'm not sure how to explain that. The pain emitted felt less in mass. It's easy to use. Quick to charge with only five hours needed every three weeks. This has been the best health purchase I've made. I highly recommend the Laser Touch One. I even received a courtesy call from the company checking in to see if I had any questions. I wasn't home to receive the call but was impressed they took the time to call. ... show more

  • Healed a Fractured Growth Plate!
My 11 year old fractured her growth plate in her wrist while tumbling back in early December 2014. She was in a fiberglass cast for nearly 4 weeks until it cracked and the Dr did an X-ray, saw no improvement switched her to a removable cast. On the X-ray her damaged growth plate looked wider, marbled, jagged, and had dark spots on it. The healthy one was almost as white as the actual bone and smooth. At the 8 week point, her wrist was finally feeling better, but again, no improvement seen on the X-ray. At the 12 week mark again, no improvement, and so they sent her for an MRI to determine if it as healed, but permanently damaged, or merely just slow to heal. a couple of weeks later the MRI results showed the growth plate was still inflamed, it wasn't healed, and there was also a bone bruise. The doctor started talking worse case scenario, that it may never heal and advised us to keep doing what we were doing and we would just keep coming back every 4 weeks for X-rays because there was nothing else we could do. That's when I decided I needed to try cold laser on it. Most of the information I could gather stated cold laser hadn't been tested on growth plates and no practitioner I could find would touch a growth plate with cold laser, so I found this unit on amazon and decided to give it a try. My daughter started using it on her wrist about on average 3-5 times a week in the evenings before bed and for maybe a total of 3 weeks before she went for her next X-ray. I had hopes that it was going to start to look less jagged and more smooth or that it would be started to close up narrower more like the healthy one. But what we saw was amazing...it was COMPLETELY healed. I thought the Dr was showing us an X-ray of the healthy wrist. they looked the Same! It was truly like a miracle. My only regret was that I hadn't bought this device sooner. I would recommend this for anyone wanted to speed the healing of an injury. it's worth every penny. ... show more

  • Works for pain, but found a much cheaper solution!
I just purchased Laser Touch One for my chronic neck/shoulder/back pain. I have tried Class 3 (also cold laser) and Class 4 (K laser) laser treatments from chiropractors, but it is expensive, so I thought I may as well purchase a cold laser and do it myself. This is a Class 2 laser, so it's weaker, but it has the laser in combination with the electrical stimulation, which makes it stronger than just the laser. I tried it last night for the first time, doing several areas on my neck and shoulders, for 4 mins in each area. I noticed some pain relief in the area I did, then noticed the area next to it hurt, so I did that area, etc. It will take time to cover all the muscle knots, but I think it will be effective. I can't expect years of chronic pain to disappear in a day, unfortunately. I will stick with it and see the results. Another plus, my husband, children and friends can also use it for their various painful conditions, so it's definitely more cost effective than going to a chiropractor! 12 days later: I've been using this every day for about 2 hrs. It is a LOT of work, but then there is a lot of area to be covered by a beam of light. I have to do an area for 10 minutes, then move on to the area next to it, and so on, to cover my neck and shoulders. The next day, it hurts again, and I do it all over. The muscles are definitely softer, but I'm waiting for it to be less work to keep the pain away. I do have 20 years of accumulated muscle knots and pain. I will keep at it a while longer. By the way, a very good dr recommended a $20. red laser light, so will try it too! A few days later: So I just got my $20. red laser pointer yesterday and have been using it for 2 days. It is a class 3 laser, a stronger laser than the $500. LaserTouchOne, a class 2 laser. I have to say, the $20. laser does a great job, it penetrates deeper than the $500. one. It is not designed for treating pain (not FDA approved), but works better and is WAY cheaper! I plan to buy a few of them and give them away to people who I know have pain. I can get 2 for $30. on Amazon. I am ecstatic to have found a cheap, effective solution for pain, and have been sharing this knowledge! Just be careful not to look into the red laser light, or at its reflection in a mirror, or you will go blind. Not for kids!!! I keep the laser in a spot for 30 seconds or so, or move it around an area for a couple minutes. I do have to spend an hour or two to cover my entire neck and shoulders, one dot at a time. But over time, I will have less and less areas of pain, and it will be a lot faster. ... show more

  • Better than medications when used properly
Works very well ! Better than medications when used properly. Even with a diagnosis of severe chronic pain, you can live an easier life with less or even no medications! Cold laser technology is becoming widely accepted by many medical professionals, and this device is a great substitute for the more expensive models out there. I have used this on friends and already have two people who want to buy one ! I use this device everyday, and it is changing my life..one step at a time ! ... show more

  • Miraculous
My physician husband and I first experienced cold laser therapy through my cousin, who is a large animal veterinarian. (We have no financial interest in this product.) My cousin uses cold laser for tendonitis in horses; and his aging aunts and uncles have him use it for their arthritis (hands mostly). My husband had had an Achilles tendon repair, and 3 months later, the skin overlying the repair fell apart. After a year, the wound finally healed, except for a quarter-sized opening which was painful and kept draining. Two laser treatments, and the wound healed up. Fortunately, we were able to afford the Lasertouch One, and have used it for hand arthritis and tendonitis. I have also used it for knee bursitis (I do a lot of hiking). I also used it for biceps tendonitis, which had been bothering me for months. Granted, these are superficial problems, unlike arthritis deep in a hip or a knee. Although the Lasertouch is FDA-approved, few doctors know about it. My sister, who is a physical therapist, didn't know about it. Unlike anti-inflammatories and opiates, the Lasertouch heals tissue. We are spreading the word. ... show more

  • returning for refund; device doesn't work
I'm not sure whether this would've been effective or not because we never got the chance to really try it. I fully charged this device for even somewhat longer than was recommended in the instructions. However, it does not turn on when you press the on button. I tried pressing several times, tried holding and pressing, all the tricks I could think of, but it wouldn't turn on, at least not consistently. My husband could get it going once or twice, but not much. For such an expensive purchase, you expect something to work right out of the box. I'm going with an even more expensive product with the hope that the quality of the device will improve. ... show more

  • Overpriced, effective product with pros and cons
It is a nice product, but seems overpriced to me.Ergonomically it is light and fits in your hand well. However, the power dial is ridiculous. There should be numbers on the dial indicating signal strength. However, it is unmarked and every time you turn the product on its trail and error to find the right strength. Expect the gel to only last about a month if you use everyday or multiple times a day. Guarantee does not include return shipping cost either although they at least did refund my account immediately. ... show more
