Some say this is difficult to assemble but I had no problems following the picture assembly instructions…if you lay out the panels exactly like the diagram, it’s easy to assemble.

Assembly wasn't too bad once everything was laid out. It's pretty solid and sturdy. Top drawer gets janky. But I'm not Bob The Builder so I could of went wrong somewhere.. Am I going to fix it? no. Second drawer a lil lopsided. That' not my fault for sure.. *Side Eye*lol. Am I going to return it? no. Overall is does the job and my home office doesn't look like a hurricane hit it.lol K, bye. This cabinet goes very well with my existing white Melamine office furniture. I found it easy to assemble if you take your time. All parts fit together well. If you are not familiar with KD (knocked down) furniture there are some simple rules to follow. Do not use any kind of power tools. If you use a powered screwdriver to install the posts that join the sections you may strip out the holes. Instead, use firm downward pressure on a screwdriver while screwing in the posts. It will be easy. The kit includes extra fasteners in case you lose one. The instruction manual is clear, but make sure you identify all the parts. Some are similar, but not identical. There was only one confusing instruction on installing the back panel. It is a little tricky to install the bottom drawer on the rails. Take it slow. If you get anything wrong, you can always unscrew the part and do it over. My favorite feature of the cabinet is that the lower file drawer includes a caster that will prevent a fully-laden drawer from tipping over when opened.

Even tho I am a 70's year old woman, I have assembled at least 9 pieces of furniture in the last few years - a fireplace, a deck, tables, coffee table with lift lid. I am not a novice. But this piece was terrible. I even had help, but as soon as you screw something, it tears or breaks. The sides fell a few times breaking it even more. As you can see, it just didn't fit right. The 2 smaller drawers were fine as was the larger drawer, but they won't fit into the unit correctly. I use Amazon a lot, living rather rural, and this is the first time I've had a serious complaint. Update - the manufacturer reached out and they were genuine in their concern, appeared to me. While it didn't solve the problem, but it does show they have good customer service

This piece of furniture was the worst thing I have ever had to assemble, and I have assembled 5-6 pieces of furniture in the past few months for our new home. I wish I had read the reviews more closely so that I'd go into this aware that it is difficult to assmeble, as for the price, I probably would've gone out and physically purchased something pre-assembled had I better educated myself. Instructions are images only, and of particular difficulty are the larger gliding pieces for the bottom drawer that need to be extended and spefici holes identified from the back to install from the front. Very confusing to install, though not impossible. All-in-all, I don't regret the purchase as it fulfills its purpose. I would 100% NOT recommend this if you do not have a drill. Thankfully, we do. The small screwdriver provided was painful to use and I can't imagine how someone could successfully put this together using just that, and my personal screwdriver that I already own and would be more comfortable to use did not fit the smaller grooves on the provided hardware.

This one was a little difficult to assemble but fits under the office desk perfectly. You have to get the screws just right / straight in order for all of the drawers to work and for everything to slide smoothly.

This was crazy hard to put together. The instructions were horrible. The bottom of the drawers are cardboard. The drawers are so weak that the bottom drawer has a wheel to support it. It's is flimsy particle board. If it wasn't such a pain to put together I'd return it.

This was exactly what I needed. Well worth the money. It has a finished back!! So you dont have place it against a wall. Heavy, sturdy cabinet. Love it! It took me forever to put it together because there's so many screws, but the instructions were pretty clear. Make sure you look at the images carefully!! Some of the holes that were drilled were crooked, so be careful when tightening, don't want to break the particle board.
