I was going to return it but changed my mind, my toddler wants to wear it and loves it. It is smaller than I expected. This backpack supposed to be 8L and its smaller than 6L bag we have. It measures 8.5"×2"x12" if it helps anyone, I measured the back. There is no reason for me to give less than 5 starts just because it's smaller than I expected because it's made very well, it is super cute (we got green one for a 2 year boy), and it fits perfectly on my 3 ft tall 2 year old. Our daughter goes to pre-school and has to bring her items in her own backpack. In the first year of school we went through three fairly cheap backpacks, maybe $20 or so. Each would only last a month or so until a strap broke or seam ripped. We got sick of trying to repair them only to have something else break so decided to spend a little more money on a quality backpack.
