I normally don't have any issues with parts ordered from Detroit Axle but this time they got me and I doubt I'll ever order their parts again. I need front cv axles for my Kia and , based on the reviews/ratings and previously purchased parts from them, I decided last week to purchase them from Detroit Axle. I had them installed and instantly started to feel a vibration every time I would brake, especially at an increased speed. My car felt like it didn't want to brake/stop at all and I was scared to drive my son to school. I took it back to my mechanic who informed me the axles were remanufactured parts but had not been repaired. He showed me where they were basically just painted all black to "look" remanufactured but they were very damaged never actually fixed. I had to buy another pair from a different vendor just to make my car safe to drive. The picture shows the difference. The axle at the top is the "remanufactured" one from Detroit Axle and the only below it is the replacement from a different vendor. I'm highly upset and will be returning. I'm hoping to not have an issue with my refund but if so I am prepared to take things further. ... show more

So far, so good. I'm not hearing too much shifting except from the suspension itself, but not the axles. I can't afford Toyota OEM axles, so these were going to have to do. I think these are actually a decent replacement so far. I've only put a few hundred miles on them, and only time will tell if it's going to be worth giving a real review or not, so please take my opinion with a grain of salt. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars simply because, honestly, I didn't feel too much of a difference. They seem beefier than OEM, and they seem okay so far. That's as far as I can tell you. ... show more
